Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Going to be testing Dries Van Noten by Frederic Malle tomorrow to follow up tonight's test of Une Fleur de Cassie.

I'm going to an upcoming event at Frederic Malle and want to take home a fragrance or two. The hard part is choosing which one(s).

Scratch the plans for DVN. I will wear I Can See The Clouds Go By by Floraiku again because someone asked for my impressions of it/a small review.

If it fades before evening, DVN it is!

Thank you tdem, still a bit of sore throat and sniffles, but the worst seems to be staying at bay. Crossing fingers and knocking on wood it’s gone tomorrow. It’s a grey morning, wearing Fève Délicieuse.

Kewart, best wishes for a good dr’s appt and no flooding at your house!

Healing vibes and hugs to any in need.

Shycat, your photos are a treat. I love your fence and envy your having a stream. Proud of you.

ComDiva, tea and massage? And this date idea from the guy who brings you your coffee every morning? Lucky girl.

Sunshine predicted for the next few days. Yay! Decided on a Medicare Advantage Plan (not SilverSneakers supported, but Renew/Active--same difference as far as the YMCA is concerned). Yay! Little Jujube backpack arrived today. Yay! I'll be ready to tote gym stuff and camera stuff. Yay! Enjoying the heck out of the new tv, especially National Geographic programs. Yay! Smelling toasty yummy in Bond New Haarlem. Yay! Life can be so very kind at times. Wish it could be more so for all.

Robin at NST says it's Paco Rabanne's birthday, so I must wear La Nuit. Thinking about buying a light therapy lamp to help with jet lag; I have a trip coming up pretty soon and the older I get, the more difficult it is for me to adjust to time zone changes. Anyone here have experience with them?
If you can't smell me from six feet away, I'm not wearing enough.
