Default Which, for what do you do?

Which is the parfum that best suits your profession?
To tell (I wont ) your profession is optional.
But you have to tell the parfum.

    Givenchy Gentleman.

I'm a cook at two restaurants! Perfumes that stay very, very close to me or nothing at all is the right choice. Bathing and deodorant is not optional of course.

Ambrette 9 was nice when I had the decant. John Varvatos Artisan has been really nice as well!

I am a university professor. I have no idea of what is more adequate. I tend to think that my students see me as conservative, old school, in taste (but not politically). My collection is very focused on the classics*, so I believe I am doing all right.

I'm a writer and college professor. So both the UPS guy and my students get to smell whatever I'm wearing.

I don't tailor my scent-wearing to my audience; although I so tend not to wear bombastic scents, but simply because I don't enjoy them.

Right now, my drugs of choice are Parfum Sacre and Iris Silver Mist.

Since my job always required me to be around people, whether in or out of an office setting, I always chose fragrances that were easily liked by 99% of the population, where the likelihood of them being found offensive was close to zero. There are many, many safe, office-friendly fragrances.

Of course, the fragrances that met this criteria were still totally subjective.

Things like GIT, MI, Himalaya, Original Vetiver and Heritage were pretty hard to beat for me.

Working from a home office which is the same as the only and main HQ of a small firm.
Nothing fancy, but even if wanting to could not tell the activity of both the firm and myself within it, since it's largely a slightly improved form of self-employment, while also having deliberately founded and incorporated this with the clear intention of changing the field of activity and the work carried out (either as self-employment or through outsourced/external employees anytime) if need be.
Even on short notice, since most of the work is project-based anyway.

However can say that most if not all of the current lineup shown and visible on BN can be worn easily and an almost any occasion within the home office of this very firm.

I think the reason why many don't like Polo is the opening is pretty loud and a bit of an unaccustomed scent. Once it settles down, though, it's well like by many around the office.

Or, for those of us whose fathers' wore it to the point of there being a "Pigpen cloud of it following them around.

I could see that. I hated Drakkar for a long time because my brother and his friends would shower themselves with it. I like it now if at least for the nostalgia factor.

I work in sales in an office with some relatively tight proximity, so GIT, Allure Homme Edition Blanche and Rive Gauche for sure. Anything that won’t choke people out.
