I'm going to go out on a limb and say the bottle framed by Bellodgia, Cassandra, and Toujours Fidèle is Lenthéric Shanghai:

    Beatiful table!

As for the lentheric, I had guessed that that bottle was shaped similarly to a Crepe de Chine I have seen, but you could be right, perhaps these are handles, it's not the shape of the bottle.

Well, some of the same ones from the Penner pic: a big Lanvin, Bellodgia, plus a Schiaparelli and what looks like several Cotys. That trapezoidal bottle in back on the right looks interesting. Most of these are too hard for me to see, though.

I liked that 1947 Life pic you put up before:

The obvious one is the Dali-designed Schiaparelli Le Roy Soleil on the top shelf.

The only one I readily recognize in here is Lucien Lelong Opening Night. It is the pyramidal bottle on the bottom shelf of the small table on the left.

Great thread. Thanks for sharing. These old bottles have such personality! Marvelous detective work.

It came out very small initially when I saw it so I took it out. A mars bars for your effort.

Maybe one of those unlabeled perfume bottles contained Marlene Dietrich's Angelique Encens wouldn't that be something but I'm more inclined to believe otherwise.

There’s another Lelong on top of that table: the dark bulb with the long silver neck. Lelong used that design for several fragrances, though my money is on Indiscret. I can make out the shapes of a few others, but I’m not picking up enough distinctive detail to ID them.

These especially the crown I'm curious to know. I don't want to jump to conclusions that it's a prop on display.

Never mind, I found it: Prince Matchabelli Gold Maltese Cross & Crown Perfume - dates back to the 1940s.

The candle shaped one is called SLEEPING by Schiaparelli dates back to the 1930s ~1938.

There's a bottle of Sous Le Vent on the table to the right slightly tucked away behind another bottle.

Off to the left of it is a bottle of Tweed Lentheric.

    Liz Taylor

    Nancy Carroll

You know what? I just realized—I recognize the house. That's 913 North Bedford Drive, the Countess di Frasso estate, designed and built by architect W.C. Schultz in 1926. The chinoiserie interior decoration was done by none other than Elsie de Wolfe in 1936, not long before Marlene Dietrich rented the estate from the Countess. I toured that house when it was for sale 10–15 years ago, although I wasn't even within laughter's distance of being able to afford an 8,000 sq. ft. Beverly Hills mansion on over an acre of land. (I don't know if it sold then or was withdrawn, but it was listed again for about $30M in 2016, and sold the following year for $20M.)
