    Eau de Parfum
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Quarry - That was a nice PSA from Max Brooks. I once heard a lovely interview Anne did before her death, talking about her daily life with Mel and it was so warm and touching, you could so clearly feel the love and admiration in her voice. It *might* have been on Terry Gross' Fresh Air? Worth finding.

A 70-year family tradition is absolutely something worth preserving.

Hello everyone I agree with Jon, that is something to be proud of Quarry I went to be tested yesterday, but the testingsite was empty.... It was also a dreadful snowstorm... I got tested today, though. Yesterday they tried to round it up quickly due to the weather ( being outdoirs after all) The testing of Corona was quite unpleasant... But glad to have it over with. Sotd is Escale a Portofino.

teardrop, you are in my thoughts! Wishing the UK a mild infection curve!
Quarry, you sure do the history proud.
It feels weird in an almost empty downtown Vienna where I work. It also occurred to me that there was a supermarket usually crowded with students nearby. Everything available and hardly any people. My workplace is deserted too. Hardly anybody has to be physically present. However, rather favourable for my (absent) work colleagues as the wild garlic season is in full swing...

I've been avoiding the boards for several days now. Everything I'm consuming is just so gloomy and I want to try to stay as positive as I can. I'm about to work from home for the next 2-weeks as I type from my office. I'll miss being here as much as I dislike the place at times.

I received my bottle of Frederic Malle The Night today from Selfridges. It's an ungodly expensive fragrance that I couldn't justify paying for until a sold off fragrances from my collection to pay for it. Looking back on selling the fragrances to pay such a price I realized that there were so many fragrances that I bought on a whim, blindly in several cases...that I rarely wore. Now, if I had a glimpse into today there's no way I would have bought The Night...but I did and I have come to realize that I should enjoy more of what I have rather than constantly seeking out new and exciting things just for the initial thrill. I think that can be said for many things that I personally consume.

I'm going to use this time to stay as positive as possible and use this as a learning experience for how to not only manage my perfume hobby....but manage other parts of my life. Enjoy the little things. Enjoy what you have. Wake up and enjoy what's around you...The birds singing, the creek bubbling and wind rustling the trees.

Stay safe out there everyone and enjoy what you have!
