Wishing everyone, good health & calmness while weathering this storm - it's crazy out there, especially, if you are just trying to do your regular weekly shop. I keep saying to myself, it is what it is, just weather the storm the best you can and eventually, this too shall pass!

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Wednesday, 18th March, 2020

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

At least I don't have to venture into the madness of the supermarkets.

Good to hear that said again, CuddleCat: This, too, shall pass.

    HoP

Today I have to go to ... duh, duh, duh! ... the DMV to renew my license. One of last places I care to go right now is the DMZ, er, "V." New this year to me is having an actual appointment time for basically a paperwork visit. Hoping that will minimize crowd size and processing time. Ugh. I need the cheeriest of frags to buoy my attitude. Okay, Boucheron, do your mightiest.

    ETA
Boucheron makes me think of Robin in Florida, and I've been thinking about Mike Perez in Florida, too. Unless I haven't spotted them, they haven't been around as much as I like to see. Miss you folks.

I recently went scent-free for 3 weeks while I battled bronchitis, and now that I've recovered I was planning to use the self-isolation as an excuse to let 'er rip with some crowd-displeasing stinkers. But the vacation seems to have re-set my nose, and all my big stuff smells overwhelming to me, so I'm easing back in with some lighter citruses and pale greens. Today is vintage Eau de Patou. So far, so good.

Quarry, I also have to do a renewal at the DMV next week and am dreading it. Hope your trip wasn't too eventful.
