Almost 3 years as a member, lurker for the same amount of time.

Milestone is successfully using up a full bottle this year so far. I rotate what I wear so much, I never thought I would accomplish it.

No real milestones, but its been fun to witness my nose/preferences evolve over time.

I joined in 2012, but I think I lurked without signing up for at least a year or two before that.
    I have too many posts.
I am contemplating the possibility of not buying any fragrance this year. I think my last purchase was in September or October. I wonder whether I can go a year. A pandemic lockdown will probably help.
    1. No, never blind buy (I do, but do as I say, not as I do. I'm taking no responsibility for your fragrance gambling).
    2. Get them both. You're a Basenoter and you know you're going to end up purchasing them both eventually.
    3. Yes, it has been reformulated.
    4. Looking for a signature scent? You've come to the wrong place.

My collection is much better than it was last year. I'm celebrating this milestone very often by wearing a perfume I love.

I want to explore as much as possible, to test as much as possible, to buy the perfumes that I like the most, to train my nose, to become a connaisseur.

Not a milestone but I've had 21,000 visits to my page which seems like way too much, lol.
But my 50th bottle for my wardrobe should be arriving today, JB Jack Black.

I've actually been here since 2002. Was active then life happened, moved, lost login info, then created this account much later in 2007. Not sure I've hit any type of milestone, but I enjoy like-minded folks here.

Birthday milestone, nearly decade collecting fragrances, my very first actual purchase, my first purchase with a premium (silver collar DHI), joining as a BN plus member, first started collecting Creed 9 years ago, first started collecting Chanel 8 years ago, first started collecting Guerlain 5 years ago, decision to formally begin sampling and purchasing vintage (Non-Creed) fragrances, the start of friendships of very specific individuals here.

Been here since June 2004 when I was looking to get a fragrance for college to replace Acqua di Gio for college. That first scent, Mugler Cologne (Come Together), is still in my collection today.

    Other milestones:
-Met Kilian Hennessy in 2008 when his brand was young - have an autographed keeper box for that bottle of Straight to Heaven
-Met Geir Ness in 2009 at Epcot - have his autograph too
-Went through a bottle of Aventus in my bachelor’s degree in 2015 - everyone loved it on campus
-Got another bottle of Aventus from a (very sadly) now deceased former Mad Man boss between my bachelor’s and MBA
-My aunt and uncle gave me a bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540 EdP to celebrate my MBA, just 3 1/2 years after my bachelor’s
-Discovered Replica: Jazz Club by way of my showers at the St. Jane Hotel in Chicago in 2019 and bought a bottle two days later (proof that ingenuity still exists in mainstream fragrance)
-First fragrance purchased in my current Mad Man era: Elysium by Roja Dove (finally, a blue bottle fragrance done right)

In the meantime, other things have changed big time in my life since high school. Some things haven’t, though: I still wear Levi’s jeans, New Balance shoes (574 and 990 - the classics), and shirts with fun graphics - all things that I picked up in high school. My cologne preferences, however, changed.
It's really quite pleasant, except for the smell (...)

For whatever reason I own many Bs and Cs though....

Also recently bought my first decant of Zoologist Bat. I prefer full bottles so am unlikely to buy many more, but since it is discontinued and hard to find I pulled the trigger on it.
So are you considering company name only, or company and fragrance name?

On first thought having the full alphabet seems way unlikely.... but after looking through the list it seems I have all but 4 in full bottles. Adding in samples gets to all but one. Using the frag name gets the last one, but by creator name only am missing Q. Does that count as a milestone???

As to V and Z.... Valentino? Uomo? something else? Z.... have the whole Zegna line to choose from... some good ones if a bit pricy in the elements or whatever that other premium line is called... I like Peruvian Ambrette and the Acqua di Bergamotto is nice.....

Getting banned for a few days should be a right of passage. Or your stars should turn black for each reprimand you receive.
