    Hello!
This late morning I'm wearing Orange Sanguine from a sample. It's a very pleasant and very light green-ish and uplifting orange juice-y scent, and I'm sure it will wear off until the evening and then I'll sample something else.

We took a walk in the forest nearby yesterday, it was very refreshing. I'm very glad there are quite a few forest areas in my city. There's also a park not too far from my home, but it's a bit too overcrowded by today's standards where you want to keep as big distance from others as possible. In the evening I made a couple of gin tonics with lemon instead of lime (because I have some gin and tonic stashed, but not lime!) and we played some Magic: The Gathering. It was nice to just relax a bit and not think about the doom and gloom of the world.

Wishing you all some calmness of mind and good health.

Hello and best to everyone. Congrats N. Cal!

Joining Staticx in Serge Lutens with Serge Noire. How a fragrance with such austere, flinty components can wear so smoothly and comfortingly mystifies me. Part of the magic of perfume.

    Take care, all.

Way to go. "Working" on upping one's BN post count would seem a good project during folks' home confinement, as would be taking the time to write fragrance reviews.

It's gray and chilly, but in a walkabout yesterday I noticed some big brush piles that should be moved, so that'll be fun to do whilst listening to Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and gardening podcasts. Being outside and away from Mr. Q, I can wear a stinker: Pomegranate Noir. Feels like its mulled fruit and spice should keep me warm.

Don't know if this'll give you a giggle, but it tickled me:
When not watching tv, I'm probably listening to podcasts or radio shows. At bedtime I listen to audio dramas. I started listening to a new-to-me station of old-time detective dramas, which are both basically entertaining but unexpectedly hilarious when I began to imagine them being enacted by Leslie Neilsen à la his spoof roles in Airplane, Naked Gun, and Police Squad. One old detective story I was listening to was to be taking place at the home of a missing woman. A voice from someone like Frank Drebin (Nielsen) arrives on the scene and asks someone like Ed (George Kennedy) if they've found her car. Ed replies in earnest, "It's in the garage. It's an accordion."

I've been enjoying the free Showtime Channel available through our cable service. I got to see an old favorite movie, Sense and Sensibility. As always, I cried at the happy ending.

After a shower I'll be enjoying Shalimar eau de cologne splash.

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Sunday, 22nd March, 2020

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
