Default What I received since my Jan 01 BN break :)

So,been away from BN since New Year. Crawled back in the shutdown!
Quick update on what I've received so far this year

    Eau Sauvage 2012:
Admit I gave away the 2017 one I had last year and have slowly come round to it. Discreetly intoxicating and hypnotic. Went back for more! Couldn't pass up on this. One of the ones including EDT that I often scour the interwebs for just cus'

    Aramis Aramis
Another one I couldn't pass on - noticed it was a UTIF one and thought hey lets see what its got. Sadly I think it's turned - top to mid notes = sour off cumin yoghurt smell - can't be right, right?! and it actually smells putrid for the most part.
My brother gave me his new one as he said it was too strong for his tastes. Think it shifts about on my skin - at first it was a similar cumin heavy no go - second time - mmmh yeah I could get on with it.

    Aramis Tuscany:
Swellz yeah! This is good product

    Mugler Cologne:
One that I tried a few years ago and that prickly freshness stuck with me. Nice fresh clean, bordering sterile type a frag. Sticks around longer than I expected. Looking forward to warmer days to see how it performs.

    VCAPH:
"Backup backup yooooo!" Top 5 frag.

    Issey Miyake Bleue:
Yikes - not what I expected! Definitley a blue fresh ozony one witha few twists. Similar in texture to Lanvin Oxygene Homme. On the fence. Won't miss it - lol in fact I'd forgotten all about it until I decided to do this post!

    Chanel PM Concentree:

Well trodden path of those who adore CPM EDT and want a boost in performance. Way different to my nose. Haven't found it particularly special - sometimes I'll smell something I sprayed it on ( as you do when 'getting to know' your new frag) - and think what is it, what is it - it hasn't called out to me in a major way. It's pretty rich n dense still, a bit sickly sweet after a while. Takes a while to settle down 'n' open up into something familiar. Miss the ginger. Sometimes smells like bricks/brick dust. Time huh....

    Agua Fresca Adolfo D:
Yes! Easy going herby fresh, dries off to a nice gentle nutty masculine hum. Reminds of Monotheme Bourbon Vetiver. Tidy number, great value. No qualms splashing it about.

    Versace L'Homme:
Woah! In the same vain as some of the classics - CPM, ES, Boucheron - Yet this is bonkers strong and thick. Lol after a while with it - I sometimes get a car interior in the sun vibe.

    Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDT:
Nice rich number. Easy to wear, easy to like. Outstanding performance.

    Carven Vetiver:
Clear glass bottle. Backup and addition to new green bottles and a vintage. Becoming one of my faves. Smoky, nutty, slight powdery vetiver. Smouldering

    Good haul!

If I could recommend something to you, it would be Moschino pour Homme.

    Haha cheers bud,
I came across this - I distinctly remember scouring the interwebs deep into the night - as you do - shame it's a rarity. Sounds like it'd be an easy addition and kick-*ss !

    Congratulations and welcome back.

Eau Sauvage 2012 and 2017 were both blind-buys for me last year. I really wasn't sure what I thought about them at first, but each time I wear them, I like them more. There is certainly something of quality and craftsmanship there for sure.

And Mugler Cologne - that's one of the best values out there IMO. Great scent and excellent price. One of the best fresh scents you can find.
    Current Summer Favorites:

    1. Xerjoff - Nio
    2. Tom Ford - Rive d’Ambre
    3. Dior - Homme Cologne 2013
    4. The Different Company - De Bachmakov
    5. Armani - Code Sport Athlete
    6. Montale - Aoud Legacy
    7. Dior - Homme Sport 2008
    8. by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
    9. Ermenegildo Zegna - Sicilian Mandarin
    10. Creed - Pure White Cologne

That is an interesting comment on Versace L'Homme, and I can see where you're coming from. Solid analogy!
