Without a doubt L'Envol de Cartier, a design that will be probably unequaled for a long time. As for the juice inside.

Odori, the bottle is suspended in the wood frame. Sprayer is excellent.

I love this design too, the blue gradient bottle is beautiful and the carbon-fiber cap is very nice - and this is a "low-end" cheap(er) fragrance! Fantastic smelling (and performing) juice inside too

Hard to pick, but I've always loved the simplicity of Areej le Dore's Indolis. Wish the juice is that green in person.

    Beautiful cap too.

I like the violet Molinard bottles as well.

That Insurrection bottle is quite unusual. To my eye it has a sort of Art Deco vibe and I really like it.

My fave is this particular Angel iteration, Iced Star.

    From the collection:

    B313C92B-9DCE-4D1F-805A-DF0EE115F515.jpeg

Helmut Lang EdC by Helmut Lang

From Mr. Deconstruction himself this one actually looks much like the way I dress and otherwise live my life. Like a Sol LeWitt cube installation (structure, sculpture might be a stretch) I see the essential beauty in this. From the apothecary-inspired jar deconstructed to its element, to the (kinda) squarish label, to the exacting typeface that is iconic to the designers who followed Helmut Lang after the 1990s this design is not about emotion but about relational shapes. For those who are OCD or looking for anything even minuscule in abstraction it would be the curvature of the wick seen behind the label.

Oh, and it feels great in hand.

And very much outside of my collection:

    DDD205A6-5B3A-4D4E-822A-E31F933A5860.jpeg

No.1 Pure Perfume for Men by Clive Christian

I realize this that choosing this is akin to racing towards the top of the food chain under the assumption that they must have good designs - like saying “Rolls Royce” when asked to choose the best automobile interior - but, honestly, this bottle always gets me. And ornate is generally inimical if not altogether sacrilege against my very minimalist scripture, outside of visits to cultural sites, of course.

From the files of unbridled ostentatiousness I smirk when I elect this one. To me, it’s Ayatollah Fancy Pants. No, I don’t own it (obviously) and even if I did I haven’t the proper perfume alter on which to display it. Heck, I’d probably be afraid to use it.

(And this is after you get past the packaging . . . the packaging of some of our favourite fragrances in itself could be an entire thread!)

For me it's not about the bottle design, but on the content!

Because when the bottle is empty, it is unfortunately useless, unless it is refillable!

Unless you have a bottle and box, as shown below:

Yeah, I selected this one as [probably] my favorite because despite it's small size, it is surprisingly heavy / solid and the glass is so smooth - it just has a quality to it that I really like.

My bottle is stored in the basement (I put 10ml into an atomizer and use from that), so I haven't checked it out in a while - but now you have me curious - I don't remember anything about the sprayer either way - I will need to go find it and see if the sprayer does in fact look cheap!

I have not seen the London bottle in person - just from the photo on Fragrantica. That does look very nice - especially with the additional graphic on the front of the bottle.
