    Default $100's, 5 Fragrances

My birthday is coming up in about 2 weeks time, I want to change things up by getting 5 interesting cheapies that smells expensive. I have $100

    The criteria is as follows

    1 for Summer
    1 for Winter
    1 for all seasons
    1 unisex
    1 for the office

Quote this post, by inserting the name of the fragrance next to each criteria.

On a side note, if anybody wants to send me Mugler Cologne as a present, I would welcome that as well

    Default Re: $100's, 5 Fragrances

1 for summer- regular Cerruti 1881 (green bottle)

1 for winter- Bogart pour Homme or Lapidus pour Homme

1 for all seasons- Bogart Signature

    1 unisex- Best of Chevignon

1 for the office- though Cerruti 1881 could qualify as well, Azzaro pour Homme l'Eau (which in turn could be appropriate for summer as well), Verdon by l'Occitane or Boucheron pour Homme EDT

though all these 5 at once would most likely remain on budget, there might probably be still more affordable/greater value for money options out there within this amount fellow BN posters might know even better and more extensively.

I’d spend your entire $100 on this one

    Otherwise:
Summer: Eau de Rochas Pour Homme
    Winter: Jacques Fath Pour L’Homme
    Year Round: Lalique Equus EDT

Thought about just 1 fragrance, but I thought let me increase my current haul with some cheapies. Most times we focus on expensive niche and designer, and forget how many good cheapies are out there.

That’s a pretty strong line up.

For a variation that should just take you over $100 with some 50 - 75 mL bottles (maybe 100 mL on the unisex and office selections):

    Summer:
    Banana Republic Neroli Wood

    Winter:
    Montblanc Individuel

    All Seasons:
    Montblanc Legend

    Unisex:
    CK One

    Office:

I tend to agree with this, one great bottle that could work in most occasions would be ideal.

I like the discontinued EDT as well - not as good of an opening, but more heart and interestingly - more projection and longevity.

To be honest and personally speaking, always found these two very affordable yet liked Halston 1-12 (subjectively) a bit more.
Considering not just the very low prices but also the decent returns on investment for both, either of these two could be easily worth some (re) testing, even if not downright immediate (blind) buying.

Interesting.. Reading the reviews on Fragrantica on both, they seem to get some good solid reviews. I know Halston is a pretty old fragrance, but it's still one highly recommended by people in the Frag community

Bois du Portugal, yeah, which is sharper and greener and fustier than Lalique Lion EDP. Lalique Lion EDP is smoother and easier to wear, IMO.
