    Hello!

Thank you everyone for your care. Jon, the tea tree oil has worked its stinky magic indeed and after two full days of quite concerning ear ache I woke up feeling almost absolutely normally today. I feel so relieved. Thanks again for your concern!

Shycat, I'm glad your son feels well already! How is your sister doing?

Tdem, Quarry and others whose families are affected, I hope you all will be safe and healthy soon, too.

Cazaubon, ((((hugs)))). It must have been a scary sight. Hopefully your neighbour recovers soon.

I'm cozying up in Samsara today.
Wishing you all strength, good health and peace of mind.

    Afternoon all,

So glad you're feeling better, Clockwork!

We're having a lazy day here so far, & l'm sampling Coral by Neil Morris. There's a strong & very cold wind blowing outside, so despite the sunshine we won't be venturing outside today.

Keep calm & stay well, everyone.

My sympathy for everyone's anxiety, whether over your family members' current condition or your feared-for futures. I keep hearing my mom's go-to phrases. In addition to "better days are coming," I hear her saying "what will be, will be"--always thought that rather defeatist, the way she intoned it -- but it also can mean, just do what you can, that's all you can do.

CwAlice, I've been wondering if you and I had a similar experience. I have no idea if I had COVID-19, but I had 2-3 days of inner ear stuff, which I've never had before in my life. Glad to hear you appear to be on the road to total recovery.

I expect that sometime in the not-too-distant future, there will be a blood test for the presence of C-19 antibodies, probably as part of one's routine physical exam. At that point, we'll learn who has actually been exposed. Then we can donate blood in hopes of specifically helping those who'd benefit from the antibodies.

After seeing staticx and easyfish name drop Mugler, I decided to lay on the Angel Muse for a morning sorting out my enormous and enormously littered potting bench to make way for de-hibernating geraniums and vegetable seed starting while listening to entertaining podcasts. Going to put some venison "parts" (I didn't know how to label them, cuz I'm a sorry excuse for a butcher) in the roaster on this gray, sprinkley Sunday morn. Our world is quiet and cozy feeling, while at the same time our classrooms afford us a sense of space. I know others (maybe you?) are feeling cramped and stir-crazy, and I almost feel guilty for how pleasant our existence is (even though we've lost 2/3 of our stock-market nest egg so far). I guess this worldwide pause is giving everyone impetus to reevaluate one's over-arching lot in life. Enough rambling on my part. I look forward to reading everyone else's ramblings, please.

    BIG HUGS!

Hello and best to everyone. Foxbins, Caz, CuddleCat, Mike, ClockworkAlice, thank you. The fever, body aches, and chills come and go and he’s tired, but he’s resting, drinking fluids etc. Still waiting on test results but whatever this thing is, it’s tenacious.

Shycat I’m so glad to hear your son was cleared. Bless him.
ClockworkAlice, I’m glad the tea tree oil is helping. Feel better.

ExtremeK, glad you got a chance to try a couple of my favs, and that you like them! I just pulled out the Douce Amere to wear this week since I've been trimming my artemesia, and Douce Amere always reminds me of that smell.
But today, I am in Chanel Coromandel EDT.

We're having a bizarre little heat wave here, 90F/32C yesterday and today. Hopefully more normal temps return this week.

Vaninger cheered me up so much yesterday that I'm giving it a rerun today. LiveJazz named this one perfectly, calling it "ginger-vanilla Pop Rocks". It's so fizzy.

    Thank you everyone, darlings!

Quarry, I actually thought of you and your strange ear-ache the first day mine started aching. I wonder what it was and if we had the same thing, too. I actually were under the weather 3 times already since the end of February and I wonder if one of those three could have been the dreaded corona virus. I always recovered in a couple of days, but the symptoms were very different each time and I never coughed though. I actually would like to know if I had it already so I could feel safer - I'm sure many of us would want that knowledge, too. So far I'm keeping that distance as well as I am able to.

In the evening I dabbed some Narciso Rouge. My perception of this scent is slightly shifting, now I'm finding it less dirty and musky and much sweeter and more floral, and also easier to wear. I enjoy this shift.
