    Beautiful red squirrel photo, Jon.

Sending you all positive viibes as we start another week
    of restrictions and uncertainty.

I am using scented products more than ever in these strange
times- comforting body lotions, home fragrances, scented soap
and perfume of course. My SOTD is Fleur d'Oranger by
Fragonard. Not sure when we'll be able to visit our second home,
Nice, again but this perfume reminds me of it.

Thumbs up Re: SOTD: Monday, 30th March, 2020

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Tdem et al, you are in my thoughts!
Sunny and deep blue sky, but so .... cold outside.
I still smell the remainders of last night's Tabac Blond, which serves me well for the moment being.

Good morning, everyone (well, okay, good afternoon or good evening to some)!

Positive vibes as we all dive in to the new week. Looks to be another one of 12-15 hour work days (from home) for me. Hoping I can figure out a less time-consuming way to do things, but I'm not confident. Lots of my work is writing and coordinating other people, both of which take time. Meanwhile, online Zumba and BollyX classes as they crop up are my main form of physical activity.

For today, a sheer and comfortingly green (to me) vanilla: Nicolai Vanille Tonka.

    Maintain-your-sens-of-humor-if-possible Monday to all!

Vanille Tonka fragrance notes: Basil, Lemon, Mandarin, Carnation, Orange Flower Absolute, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Vanilla Absolute, Tonka Bean.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

Sprayed myself very late last night with Mousse Illuminee and it was still there in the morning, so went with Panda by Zoologist to keep with the green theme!

24Faubourg, Mousse Illuminee is one of my favorite green fragrances, too!

Trilby, I’m doing the same. I notice that women roughly my age and a bit older are also looking me in the eye and smiling. I like the idea that this effort in a commonly-felt, instinctual thing. That feels very connecting, too (in addition to the smiles).

Spring is springing, so I’m craving violets. SSS Wood Violet for me this morning.

Misia, the original edt. It is the best balance of lipstick and powder for me. I may have to try to hunt down more of this original composition since I can't stand the edp.

Thinking about you, fine BN family. Be well, and please embrace whatever joy you find in your day.

Hello and best to everyone. (((((Shannon, Larimar, Foxbins, Caz, HoP, N.Cal))))) thank you all for your concern, and my apologies if I missed anyone because the lovely messages keep on coming. Just know that it's appreciated more than I can ever say. As for John, more of the same today, he's achy but resting. And many thanks on his behalf, too.

    Thank you, HoP!

Best wishes and hugs to everyone.

I'm debating with myself whether I should go for a walk and try to do those 10 000 steps instead of that mere thousand I can make while being at home all day or should I just opt for some exercises at home. It's sunny outside. It's scary outside. I'm too lazy to move. My back will start aching if I don't move enough. I need to get off the computer after a work day to let my eyes rest and my muscles work a bit. You know, the usual quarantine talks with yourself.

I'm in Les Amoureux de Peynet today - citruses and ginger.

SotE: Rogue Perfumery - Jasmin Antique.

Just arrived and anyone after an absolutely stunning mood-lifter should look no further !. Beautifully natural smelling jasmine (mildly indolic) with a vintage feel. Best new release I've smelled for a long time

    Good afternoon, all!

Had to laugh at foxbins' post about the scenic route. I'm not leaving the house at all, except for necessities, but the couple times I did the trails were more packed than they ever are, lol. So much for social distancing! But if all these people keep it up after the virus is under control, then something good will have come from it.

Day seven of the state lockdown and I'm doing just fine. Back to cold temps here so I've gone for Coromandel, and about to build a fire in the woodstove for "the girls" (kittens) and me to cozy up nearby.

So glad to hear your hubby is hanging in there, Terry! Continued good wishes to all three of you. And, you smell beautiful!
