Default Has anyone tried Moschino Toy Boy for men?

Watched a YouTube video that mentioned it as having beastly sillage and longevity as well as a great smell.

No, I haven't -- it sounds classy though

Yes. Love the smell for it's uniqueness, but ultimately feel its a cooler month fragrance and isn't my cup of tea. But it is unique, so bravo for that. If I remember correctly, has a strong cinnamon note.

I liked it enough, especially considering the state of men's recent releases.

It has a sour note that I don't particularly enjoy, but otherwise I'd wear it if I had a bottle.

That bottle, though... Don't judge a book by its cover - but instead of being the black sheep of a collection, it's apparently the black bear.

Hows the pear note in it?

A marvelous scent. Rose and pear are quite prominent. It smells almost niche but unfortunately in the dry down it becomes similar to CH Men.

I have a bottle arriving tomorrow, but I haven’t smelled it yet. I saw several YouTube videos talking up this fragrance, and I find the bottle and advertisement hilarious. Can’t wait to smell it.

This is not a problem for me at all. I love CH Men. I think the problem with it is cause it’s from a brand carrying a Latin name and YouTubers hyped it, what usually causes a natural contrary wave on people like us who likes a more “accurate” information out of the fast-food servers.

It's a surprisingly good scent. I'm sure there was another thread about it.

My first impression is a dusty rose dominant scent. I also detect some nutmeg. I don’t think I like this very much. It reminds me very much of Potion Royal Black by Dsquared², and I think I prefer Potion Royal Black. Toy Boy is not as sweet and I like that. Toy Boy has this dusty aspect that gets stuck in my throat. I will test it further and will see how it goes.

It sounds interesting, but I'm very finicky about rose notes, so I won't go out of my way to try it.

True hardcore Basenoters aren't allowed to try it until it's in the directory. Look forward to my findings 5 years from now.

Too much rose for me, I felt very uncomfortable wearing it.... has a gothic victorian wake feeling to it.

This one sounds decent. Im all for rose notes. With the pandemic I will not sample anything new for a while however.

Look forward to hearing more thoughts on it

Reminds me of Le Labo Rose 31 a lot! A very good fragrance with a very wrong marketing and presentation. Warm, spicy, floral, unisex.
