Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Hugs and hugs and hugs all around. And .. for lovely Larimar. Of course, use my wording, Hazel. Ryan, I'm sorry you're struggling with the isolation.

A little humorous banter with my check-out fella (behind his new plastic wall divider) at the grocery store yesters: I told him the store should give them new t-shirts emblazzoned with "Woodman's Superhero!" Without a fraction of hesitation, he said, "But that would reveal my secret identity because we have to wear nametags." (Then he took away some of my burger and peanut butter because those items are being restricted now, too, like eggs and toilet paper.)

Treating myself to a morning at the potting bench, cutting back dead and pale portions of over-wintered geraniums, mixing prairie seed, prepping pots for seed-starting. This is the most pleasant pottering/puttering, especially with podcasts playing. I'm roasty-yummy in a layer of New Haarlem with a bit of Bel Ami. Grrrrr.

Hello and best to everyone. Happy birthday, xscent!

Quarry, what a typically lovely note for you to write. No lack of eloquence around here.

John definitely has COVID; his results came in late yesterday. We are not surprised, if the way this thing has been kicking his ass is anything to go on. Bless him, he’s been in top physical condition until now, and if he’s feeling this bad it’s no wonder why it’s such a danger to those who are medically vulnerable.

I’m wearing Angel Liqueur de Parfum. Take care, friends. Xo

Haven't been to the grocery store in a week. I will venture out tomorrow. I've heard of bare shelves everywhere - I'm curious what is left...

Mure et Musc Extreme but right now I smell like coffee because I read an article about not throwing out coffee grounds, that they were good for so many things, including skincare. Cannot recommend, they were very scratchy and messy

The food stock in our grocery store has improved since the previous week but there are still significant gaps such as pasta, dry beans, baking supplies, paper products, and cleaning products. Food that remains includes expensive organic items, dense breads, exotic fruit preserves, Asian and Jewish speciality items. I was excited to snag a couple bags of black beans (ALL other varieties were sold out) and a box of Zatarain's Jambalaya mix (I like to doctor it up at home). I'm trying new stuff like raspberry & chipotle preserves. Shopping is like a scavenger hunt now but there is plenty of food if you're willing to made substitutions.

    I'm wearing Coco today.

Thank you for the update on Mr. tdem. I hope he continues to improve quickly.

I'm wearing Chypre Mousse today. School has been canceled for the remainder of the year and now there is scrambling to put some kind of video-schooling together.

Oh, ((((tdem))))! I hope your husband gets well as soon as possible. And you and your dad and everyone else in your family - stay healthy and strong, too.

I was wearing Lolita Lempicka Mon Premier during the day and changed into Rose Jam by Lush in the evening. I started constantly doing two scents per day (sometimes even three) during these weeks. A perfume cloud soothes me a bit, and I don't have to care about my scent being too strong with all this social distancing. I believe I'm not alone here.

I don't need a lot of things - just some random, oddball items. My brother-in-law snapped some pics on his phone a few days ago. Dang near every aisle had empty shelves, in our Giant Supermarket; one of three grocery stores in our 'burg. My husband needs his Keebler Club Crackers... LOL!

Scavenger hunt. I'll think of that way, when I go tomorrow.
