I lost dsl internet connection this morning for two hours which you do not want to do when self isolating. But at least i got some cleaning done.

Turns out my at risk niece in Michigan had her baby early and is home already. That is one relative less for me to worry about for now. I have a new great-nephew named Henry David ( I don't know why they chose Henry, but David is my father's name.)

Zilpha, congratulations on your new grand-nephew!

Quarry, it works the other way, too. Someone somewhere has a new coffeemaker that I ordered online in March. I paid via Paypal, who refuses to refund me because USPS tracking says "delivered." USPS says the tracking number the vendor provided to me is incorrect, but nobody knows the "correct" number so I'm out $75.

I went to Costco this morning during "senior hours" and saw a line twice the length of the warehouse waiting to get it. I got back in the car and drove to my neighborhood supermarket, which had been jammed with shoppers and with mostly empty shelves two weeks ago. Today there were very few people and the shelves were adequately stocked for the most part. I came home and put on Tamarindo. Now thinking of something exotic to make for dinner, I have tamarind pulp in the fridge.
If you can't smell me from six feet away, I'm not wearing enough.

I've been sampling Jasmin Antique the last couple of days and this morning. It starts out like mentholated gangbusters, a jasmine version of Tubereuse Criminelle. And then it fades to nothing within a couple of hours. It doesn't seem to work for me

I love jasmine. So I sprayed on a bunch of Hermessence Cedre Sambac.

So interesting! Jasmine is love it or hate it for me, but Jasmin Antique was a winner. Cedre Sambac I wanted to love but faded way too quickly on my skin. The way different skin chemistry can pick up different things is one of the most fascinating (yet sometimes frustrating) aspects of fragrance to me.

Still won’t stop me from risky and expensive blind buys during this shelter in place order, however!

I look forward to smelling both of them! I have the masculine versions and I love them. Glad to hear that I have inspired you, nothing like the scent of a tequila and lime to put a smile on someone's face!
