Default Where can I buy the old version of Dior Homme Parfum? Are there alternatives I should try?

I recently got a sample of the old Dior Homme Parfum and I really like it. Is there a place that still sells bottles of the old version? If not is there a way I can differentiate the old from the new? For instance did they change the bottle or box or change the size that they come in? Lastly, if there is not a way to get the older version are there alternatives that you would recommend?

Your best bet is probably on Ebay if you can find a trustworthy vendor.

Apart from indeed Ebay, cannot provide further info about good retailers for the vintage version (s) of this one.

However, as alternatives from other brands in addition to the vintage, also adding and recommending most of the YSL l'Homme fragrance range (with a certain similarity way beyond just a comparable price, first release year, fragrance houses but also including the notes etc. of either) Pierre Cardin Iris Sauvage, Zara 9.0, l'Erbolario Iris, most if not all aftershaves as well as EDTs by the Spanish brand Floid, particularly Vigoroso.

Incidentally, the vast majority of these happening to be quite affordable as well, albeit on the downside no 100% carbon copy/knockoff/replica of vintage DH.

There is no "old" version of DHP. If you're talking about the 75ml bottles, they can still be found on ebay and other places.

But the formula has been the same from 2014 - on. I own a 2014 bottle as well as a 2018 and a 2019 and they are ALL. THE. SAME. No difference

Dior homme parfum has yet to be reformulated.

European customers can order the new 100ml bottles from Dior's website; the original style 75ml bottles are sold on Ebay for around 150-180 USD.

At that price I'll try going through my sample vial first and then decide if I want to spring for the real thing or consider one of the alternatives mentioned.

Another possible alternative may be-though with the two major disclaimers of being a technically unisex leaning feminine and also on the verge of discontinuation-Vanille Noire from the Secrets d'Essences range by Yves Rocher is a usually affordable EDP.

Remarkably (almost) managing to render, without being a 100% plagiarism of DHP, a comparable feel of powdery cocoa and nearly gourmand vanilla with equally powdery while also unisex appropriate, versatile floral (even if not 100% iris) notes.

Your best shot is the airport Duty Free, especially in Europe.
