    Default Saks Fifth Avenue

I discovered this article that Saks may follow in Neiman's footsteps, I'm not yet convinced of its credibility:
    https://dnyuz.com/2020/04/30/saks-fi...ruptcy-filing/

Another article that I read suggested merging Saks and Neiman together:

    That second thought sounds interesting.

I think the second one sounds interesting. As long as they keep a good and diverse fragrance department I'll be happy.

In today's world, merger would make perfect sense.

This is what happened in Montréal, our two upscale stores merged (Holt Renfrew & Ogilvy). Not enough of a customer base to support two luxury stores. I think a Saks NM merger makes sense.

They're both at par to one another so it should come together smoothly.

Of the two stores, NM and SFA, I prefer Saks, at least locally. It seems slightly more approachable and has an extensive fragrance department. That said, I still stump them with some of my fragrance requests and usually know more than most SAs. I hope some of the stores survive.
