Aha would never have picked him Jon. My next guess was going to be Al Pacino. 😂 Was actually in line to get into the supermarket and was running through all films I could remember.

Put on Grapefuit by Jo Malone, for the what’s left in the fruit and veg section run. This one is fantastic and cost £29.

Had a film arrive yesterday from Hong Kong called “Our Time will come “. Really looking forward to watching this as it’s based on real characters and historical events.

    Have a great day all

l see l'm too late for the guessing game, but for what it's worth, my guess would have been Charlton Heston.

lt's warmed up again & the sun is out, but it's still very windy here.

Post-shower, l craved Caligna again this evening, layered over Korres Fig body milk. l smell scrumptious.

Great story, Jon! I would have been stoked if it was David Niven, though.

Late night, late breakfast, late get together, past, present, and future, and so I'm pre shower right now but it'll be either 10 Corso Como or Dzongkha.

    Awesome story Jon!

It’s rained all morning and afternoon and I think it’s not going to stop.

I am in Musk Cologne by Bortnikoff. I’m almost out of my decant. This is good stuff and don’t let the ‘Cologne’ throw you it’s very complex stuff.

Wow, thanks for the story and guessing game, Jon! (Also love the 'Chasing Autum' photo - gorgeous!)

My first guesses were Gregory Peck and Peter O'Toole, but Robert Mitchum is yet another powerhouse - your mom's got good taste!

Annick Goutal Grand Amour for me today. This always smells heady and verging on overblown to me - but it's definitely delicious and works for me in certain moods... Like today.

Grand Amour fragrance notes: Lily, Hyacinth, Honeysuckle, Turkish Rose, Jasmine, Amber, Vanilla, Myrrh, Musk.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... I’m twinned up with 24 Faubourg tonight, testing (in some cases retesting) eight Soivohle fragrances.

    Twelve Keys
    Vanillaville
    Oolong Mountain Ti
    Purple Love Smoke
    Iris et Narcisse
    Green Oakmoss
    Violets & Rainwater
    Cuir Beurre

Twelve Keys and Oolong Mountain Ti are the only two that made it off paper and onto skin.

The samples have mostly faded by now, so my SOTE is Taj by Neil Morris.
