I used to like The Scent Of Peace as well, and it also gave me quite a happy feeling while wearing my sample. However, the drydown was too synthetic and and chemical-y for me to fully enjoy it.

Glad to see that Armani Eau pour Homme one of the if not THE ultimate personal favorite is also included in a few posts here.

Though this is and remains a long term favorite including among uplifting fragrances, certain fragrances and houses (mainly l'Erbolario, Le Panier de Sens, La Maison du Savon de Marseille, l'Occitane, Acqua di Genova etc.) do have an even better relaxing and uplifting effect than the already very good one of APH.

To me, more than couple of frags elate strong emotions. I take it you want our subjective opinions on which certain frags affect us.

I need to get another bottle of this. Purchased mine way back when I, myself was living in Las Vegas and it was first released (2009.) In fact, it was at Barneys, the only place that had it and I snagged the last one.

As for happy-at-the-moment: Daniel Josier's Green Leather. The green notes (apple, which someone had pointed out after a discussion with Josier himself) gives it a much more playful, cheerful, brighter vibe of a Tuscan Leather type scent. The freshness with frankincense (I believe) is really well done and uplifting. I really need to wear this more often.

I think I have two that qualify for this... Creed Neroli Sauvage and Fahrenheit Summer. There are some others that I truly enjoy, but on a gloomy day or whenever I truly feel like it's not going to be one of the best; I reach for those and they bring a spark of happiness that I couldn't (or perhaps wouldn't) care to explain.

And I'm honestly happy that they bring me that joy so easily.

I hate to be that guy, but... I agree with Mr Diamondflame. There is just something so so uplifting about that bright juicy pineapple, the darker blackcurrant, a whisper of rose and jasmine, that delicious dry smokey birch and that beautiful musk sitting on oak moss and ambergris...

I'm glad other people get a similar vibe with Costume National Homme. I can't imagine this evoking any different kind of emotion other than maybe 'comfort' and happiness.

Lately Mugler Aura has been making me feel happy. For the longest time it didn't click with me but maybe because it's a different kind of green for a different kind of time, suddenly it is providing a cheerful kind of exotic leafy bower.
