Cool The NEW Parle Moi de Parfum - Haute Provence / 89

    Haute-Provence-Shopify_grande.jpg

The latest release from the brand celebrates an ingredient that has gained back its letters of nobility - lavender. Haute Provence is an olfactory road trip from the high lavender fields of Provence to the Mediterranean Sea. The calming scent of iconic Provence flowers marries the sea breeze and juicy fruitiness from the local markets. A peaceful joy of life in every whiff.

    Notes: Lavender, Watermelon, Narcissus

A beautiful lavender is a rare thing today, so my bottle (blind buy) is on a way to me from Stockholm.
Will share impressions as soon as possible.

Absolute blind buy for me as I have all of their other releases.

Is every release to you a hit? I tried only chypre mojo and it was very nice scent for casual use. Very relaxing in its nature.

For me, every new release from a house I collect is a worthwhile purchase when it is released.

The term "sea breeze" is usually a red flag for me because it hints at a weird (for me) seaweed note or some such thing, especially when combined with floral notes.

I was surprised to see that it's being released exclusively at Sniph.
I love the house, but I am not big at exclusive releases. But as a Sniph subscriber I'll get to test this soon

Not a big fan of watermelon note. But I do like lavender. Let’s see where this one takes us.

Wore it today for the second time.
It opens with incredibly realistic, juicy melon, made me instantly mouthful!
half an hour later I started smelling watermelon, but it's still in background behind melon and smells like that typical synthetic watermelon accord (calone?), at least it's not chemical like in cheap fragrances.
I can barely smell lavender a few hours later, seems like it is not going to shine

Is this a Swedish based company? I am tempted to buy a 100ml bottle of this but am a little leery as I have never dealt with this company before. Would you say they are reliable? Their international shipping is very low - 5£ Would it be safe to assume that they would use Post Nord?

Just chiming in to say that Ormaie‘s Le Passant is very lavender-centered and the note is a complex, fresh/herbal/soapy one there. I don‘t like lavender-heavy fragrances on my skin, but maybe you would love it.

Yeah the melon scares me also. But I really love lavender so this is sample-worthy.

Sounds interesting, I like lavender and I'm curious how the watermelon fits in. I've never tried anything from this house but became interested after watching an interview with their founder with Persolaise. Considering ordering some samples.... but I really don't need more fragrances to want haha.

Just bought this directly from the company's website and looking forward to receiving my 15th from this house.

Looking forward to your impressions when it arrives!

Maybe lockdown boredom has me feeling dangerous, but I'm contemplating blind buying this along with some samples because I do love lavender and want to try more from the house.
