Just curious about where you all buy your fragrances from and if you have any favorite sellers?

    Welcome to Basenotes!

    Amazon, Fragrancenet, Ebay.

I don't care what seller I buy from. As long as it's a superb fragrance for a fantastic price then I'm happy.

I buy mine mostly from retailers and shops abroad in France, Germany either in person while traveling, through online retailers, or having business associates who live abroad in cities pick them up and send them to me.

At the back of some white vans, favorites are the one hiding in the dark alley somewhere behind abandoned warehouses....

    Just kidding... ;-)

I bought the majority of my fragrances from Luckyscent, Fragrancenet, FragranceX, and Ebay (only sellers in 99.5+% positive rating with hundreds of reviews/feedbacks ). Few designers from Macy's and Amazon when they had on sales, once from fragrancebuy.ca, and once (yesterday) directly from Ensar Oud. ;-)

I don't really have favorite sellers. Or I do, but I don't choose what I buy based on the seller.

Shopping the second-hand market is my preference - older versions of fragrances, often for less money.

I'm happy with used, partially-filled bottles.

Macy's, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, but only when on sale.
    Sephora
    Basenotes
    Fragrancenet, and the like.

Same - lol perusing is part of the game/hunt and often find used/part bottles that have already been knocking around for a while have zero maceration/bloom period

Yeah I would too if I was going to buy a fragrance from a small brand. It's nice to support small brands. Especially with what's going on.

Knowing the provenance of bottles is important to me so I avoid buying used.

Lucky Scent by far for me. Bought majority of my bottles there. (A benefit or a hazard of living near them depending on your point of view).
Love those guys. Always great service. Knowledgeable sales people. Steven is awesome.

After that, department stores like Nordstrom, Barneys, Nieman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks. (Though Barneys now gone and Nieman Marcus hanging on by a thread.)
Chanel online a few times and they are stellar. So is Creed Boutique.

I have dabbled occasionally with Fragrancenet. Amazon too, but they usually sell scents through 3rd parties that take a long time to ship.

    1. Directly from the company if it’s an independent and/or artisanal house. Especially attars and oud.
    2. eBay for used/vintage bottles.
    3. Mazzolari in Milan for Guerlain, Chanel, Serge Lutens and other brands like that.
    4. Online discount shops if it’s a fragrance I want at a good price. Doesn’t happen often

    Perfumeonline.ca
Fragrancebuy.ca have the best price period, point blank IMO.
Free shipping on first site if you spend 99
Free shipping on the second if you buy 5 frags.
They're both running a special this week free ship on around 50

There are some that are "shipped from and sold by Amazon" that are always legitimate and ship rather quickly, especially if you have Prime. For more niche fragrances, their selection is more limited, naturally.
