    Default Antaeus or Bel Ami?

I love both but I think narrowly prefer Antaeus.

    And you?
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.

Bel Ami for me, I once purchased Antaeus and though I liked it no one else did. I have never in ten years or so got that amount of negative reactions from strangers and people I know when wearing Antaeus. I even had some cheeky dude open a window above me on a bus. Sold it in the end.

Another vote for Antaeus, even though considering both to be very good scents deserving fairly equal (and equally high) rankings

Hmm, I’ve applied it to clothing as it wears well and smells great maybe it is a chemistry thing with your skin. I still need to try Bel Ami received my bottle a few days ago.

Antaeus is my favorite classic masculine, Bel Ami is also beautiful in that category but to me nowhere as attractive as Antaeus. I also have many fond memories wearing it, as a young teenager I felt very handsome in it like nothing else and it still brings back that refreshing feeling every single time

Bel Ami. I have the utmost respect for Antaeus but it just isn't wearable for me.

Both I don't own, but I would definitely fo for Bel Ami which was on my wish list for some time. Anatheus just never clicked with me. I tried it many times in stores but in the end I'm just never really impressed with it (do have to say that I never tried the vintage version though).

It's an interesting comparison. These are the two my significant other will sometimes mention as my two best ones.

Antaeus for me, but it's close enough I could change my mind. Over time, I've come to view these two as similar.

    This is true!
Both are classic in their unchanged bottle!
But unfortunately no longer of the content!

The original formulations of both from the 1980s are the best formulations to own period.
