Hello, My goal on Basenotes is to learn how to make perfume, just one. You see, I am dying of cancer and do not have much Time Left. I wish to develop a fragrance for my wife, that she will cherish after I leave this world. I already have a name for it "Love Everlasting". It is to be based on Spanish Broom and Fresh Linen smells and hopefully will take at least 3 years to get it almost right. I will use chems as well as natural frags, as I do not want to limit myself to just natural ingredients. After all, most professional perfumers use everything that is available to develop signature scents and that's what I am aiming for. Thank you for reading and may you live long and happy lives.
