Having loved perfume from an early age, l finally discovered the world of "perfumistas" in 2008 when researching gardenia perfumes online. My boyfriend at the time commented that he loved the scent of gardenias, & so do l, having sniffed them many times on my travels in Greece. l stumbled across basenotes, started reading reviews & blogs & was bewildered & fascinated by all these niche brands l had never heard of. That relationship ended, but since then l have fallen in love many times, with perfumes! And l will always be grateful to him for being the catalyst that started me on this wonderful journey of discovery. l have now sampled & made notes on over a hundred different scents, my collection of full bottles is getting out of control, l'm hopelessly addicted & eager for more! |
