I have tested so many scents (way more than I have reviewed) and refuse to buy something I don't love. I have a really hard time falling for a fragrance. I guess I'm super picky. I turn up my nose at so many because there is something about them that is off-putting. Too sweet, too simple, too green-always something. I might like something, but that's not enough to get me to buy it. I know if I'm not in love then it will sit untouched while I reach for something I do love. This is the reason for my very small list compared to so many on basenotes. It isn't money so much as it is a lack of emotion toward other fragrances. I test and test away, hoping that at some time during my sampling I'll find another true love. I have a few I have reviewed favorably but one little thing keeps me from purchasing a full bottle. Because I know me, and I know I won't end up wearing them if I do buy them.
