I love vanilla..I know I know, how bourgeois of me. But I do. I've tested dozens of vanillas. Found my HG of vanilla..Indult's Tihota.
I also love spice, gourmands, orientals of all kinds, green florals, citrus-all kinds, synthetic marine notes, woods that aren't too sharp, sandalwood, many fruits (especially red fruits including berries, and peaches), roses, lilacs and lily-of-the-valley, refined musks, amber, tonka, soft leather, chocolate, patchouli, balsam, almond and tea. Not too crazy about tobacco, benzoin, bitter herbs, incense, mint, & orange flower, though there are exceptions to those rules.

My favorite noses are JC Elena, Francis Kurkdjian, and Olivia Giacobetti (so far--I"m just a newbie!)
And I appear to be developing into an Hermes groupie. So far I haven't found a scrubber among their offerings!
Same with Bond No. 9. Developing a real affection for many of their frags. And Serge Lutens. Many of his creations on my wish list. Sigh.....Same with L'Artisan..so many fragrances, so little time and money! So..I'm addicted to sampling!!
