Hmmm - goes on as a very strong, sweet floral (too much for my taste) but, after a few hours, does settle into something softer and my subtler. Woodsy, oriental notes emerge making it a good evening choice if you're starting out boisterous but ending quietly.
A big Wow for this one, I"m really enjoying it. Sometimes perfumes come off with a big ol' hair spray note, which this one does have, but it is tempered by a wonderful spicy, woody base. If someone walked by me wearing this i'd think, "ooh, that person has good taste!!" (and at this point i should mention my sample came by way of Hillaire, who most certainly does have good taste!)
If Brielle is right and this has been discontinued what a shame. I'ts very wearable, rich and interesting. Love it!
This is one of the departed treasures of the 80's. A huge spicy, woodsy, floral, with a wonderful oriental spirit.
It is a powerhouse fragrance, clothed in opulence. It opens with a wonderful spicy sweet burst, more on the spicy side, then it works its way into a woodsy floral magnificence. As it wears it becomes richer and more woodsy, reveling a deeper oriental heart and base than one would have expected. At the end of the day you are left with a wonderful, warm, woodsy, aura, kissed with just a hint of spice.
