Reviews of Eau Pure

A casual blend of salty grapefruit-citrus and Passion fruit bubble gum that wants to be nothing more than olfactory lemonade.

And it does it pretty well; a nice discrete scent for beach bar, pool side or even Soirée Blanche.

Lemonade is the fun bit, but it soon fizzles out so you'll need a vapo to keep it going.

Nice fragrance. Perfect for the summer. This is something I would wear with a nice linen suit. Light citrus and fruits. As others have mentioned, the longevity is not great, but I don't think it was intended to be. The price won't hurt your pockets either ($27.00) 7/10

A Caron take on a mainstream, fresh aquatic. Beautiful and delicate with a nice fruity body, this suggests aquatic without resorting to the synthetic aquamarine smells of its less interesting cousins. There's not much to say about this other than that it's pleasant, refined and transparent.

Fresh, simple and light, would make a great summer scent for someone who wanted to avoid the synthetic emptiness of most aquatics.

Notes: rosewood, "aquatic fruits", spices, guiac wood
This is a fresh, slightly green, cool, ozonic-aquatic scent. Pleasant if you like that style. Suggests freshly-laundered fluffy towels. Not any depth or complexity, but then one would not expect that in this sort of scent. Not particularly distinctive, or interesting.

This is a thoroughly pleasant sweet and clear fragrance. It is perfect for summer.

This is probably the lightest fragrance I have ever owned and also one of my all-time favourites, despite my usually preferring masculine-smelling 'sillage champions'. I believe the pale blue colour of the juice emphasises the sense of refreshing lightness associated with this fragrance, and IMO its appeal is further enhanced by the clear glassy bottle which is neither overtly masculine or feminine and tends to remind me of 1950s polka-dotted memorabilia. It has a clean musky/creamy/powdery smell that is somewhat unique (the nearest comparison I can think of is a light musky talcum powder) which although not offensive in anyway is certainly not insipid, and I believe would appeal to and could be worn by both men & women of quite literally any age. This fragrance wears close to the skin and is probably best used in the summertime, either as a daytime or office fragrance, or might be worn after a day at the beach or just after showering. Longevity is remarkably good for such a light fragrance, lasting 4-5 hours on my skin with a few sprays. All in all a delightful fragrance that is well worth tracking down.
