An almost aggressive citrus driven by cool peppermint transitions into a clean, clear incense. Blending with sandalwood, this accord is perfectly balanced. Initially on the cool side and rather bracing, Atlantic gradually warms up. Amber emerges in the drydown bringing with it a subtle sweetness, wherein Atlantic finally settles into a relaxed and comfortable skin scent. All of this occurs over a period of 5 or 6 hours. The key to this fragrance is the peppermint, which holds everything together in its cool, uplifting aura without ever noticeably dominating.
Atlantic is an excellent scent of superb quality. It is a refreshing take on the classic masculine fragrance and manages an air of friendly, effortless professionalism. In my opinion, it is ideal for work or the office and seems appropriately suited for day-time wear. Mature, though never stuffy or staid in the least, I recommend Atlantic to anyone who may have found such classics as Bel Ami, Heritage, Eau Sauvage, or Derby appealing, but perhaps just a little too mature for their personal tastes.
Do not hesitate to seek out a sample of this.
