Reviews of 212 VIP Men

I just don't get the "beast" in this fragrance... It has below average performance for me. I got a 2018 bottle. Okay, it smells good, I like it, but no where near "beast performance".

One of the worst perfumes i ever tried in my life. It has nothing and i mean nothing. No class, no natural notes, no versatility, no nice opening or dry down, no decent projection, nothing!

It intends to smells fresh or something but it fails big time.

There should be a "2 Thumbs Down" option for rating this kind of scents.

Comparisons to Armani Code Profumo are on the mark: 212 VIP Men starts out very boozy and spicy, then it settles into an intense dry-berry like scent that is rounded out nicely with the amber and leather in the base. I also see similarities to Vince Camuto Solare (orange bottle) in the tanginess, a quality that I personally enjoy.

I do see some similiarity to Paco Rabanne's 1 Million, but that one is quite louder and deeper than 212 VIP Men (not totally my cup of tea, unless it's the 1 Million Prive Parfum version, which I really dig). Check it out for yourself - I tested 212 VIP Men at a local Sephora myself.

This doesn’t really remind me of 1 Million all that much to be honest. Seeing comparisons I expected to like it a lot more.

1 Million was more fruity, rose sweetness with spices. 212 VIP has very dominant ginger and spices, and that gin/vodka cocktail of notes that takes it away from 1 Million for me.

This one also doesn’t have the best longevity, and it stays quite close to the skin. It’s not a bad scent, it’s just not something I love, nor would I buy it.

I blind bought this one, based to the good reviews it gets... One of the worst blind buy I ever made...

It smells very synthetic. Actually, this is a synthetic mess, and I mean.. In a bad way. (Synthetic is not bad when it is done right) It has a similar vibe than 1 Million, which I absolutely hate, its generic and cheap :/ so maybe i'm biased but this is just not good.

Stick to Carolina Herrera CH Men and CH Men Privé, the others ones are just meh or bad. Thumbs down.

Is 212 VIP Men 1 Million, not exactly. It is boozy rather than cinnamon. It is tropical rather than cotton candy-like. That said the bases and themeing is where I can see the similarities of these two. It is basically Kenneth Cole Reaction T-shirt into 1 Millions base.

Projection is a little less than 1 Million (in its heyday) but still good enough to be a club scent. It is a scent to use when you are going out to a club or for a date. I like using it for hockey games myself since the projection will melt off by the time I'm at the arena.

Overall for a scent that is supposed to be similar to another, this is entirely unique and original. For that, I give 212 VIP Men a thumbs up.
