Bright mint-grapefruit-lemon opening, tart and fresh. When Tom Ford is good, he's good and this is one of the finer points from his brand: natural neroli comes through with herbal-acquatics to give you an elegant image of a summer by the sea. It's sharp and vibrant while refined, this could be a staple in anyone's summer scent catalog.
Alongside the bright citrus notes are very pronounced tarragon, sage, and basil: the greenery and the lemon-orange notes are skillfully blended. It is, however, quite linear: a little musk and amber come through during that latter half of the fragrance's life but it's barely distinguishable from the beginning. That is no reason to shy away from this: what it does, it does very well. Extremely unisex, projection is slightly above average and longevity, sadly, is below: 3-4 hours tops.
One of Tom Ford's top warm-weather scents, a bit of an underrated gem actually that is very seasonal, spring/summer is there this will truly shine.

Very interesting fragrance. At first it's an herbal mint with citrus, but then it bleeds together into the experience of ripping open a mandarin orange and the smell of the pit seeds. It gives way to a minty neroli that is very fresh. It also has some of the musk and jasmine that is characteristic of Aqua Universalis, and Dior Homme Cologne, though I think this fragrance may have bested them. This is a winner! Apparently this was created by Calice Asancheyev-Becker, who made the reformulation of Monsieur Balmain, that I don't like so much. Ironic!
Love this scent from Tom Ford.
Mandarino di Amalfi provides a healthy dose of tangy citrus fruitiness, accented by a slew of fancy spices and set upon a balanced foundation of solid rock rose, amber, vetiver and light animalic touch of musk + civet.
Great for moderate to hot warm weather, fit for active casual occasions. Longevity is okay; layering this or having a mid-routine refresher spritz will help out.
Nice smelling fragrance, great blend of herbs and citrus. My issue is that I get zero longevity. After 45 minutes it is a skin scent. Put on 5 sprays this morning at 8:30 and by my 9:30 meeting my boss couldn't even smell it. She actually asked if I forgot to put something on that morning! For the price point that is unacceptable.
This to me is a beautiful zesty grapefruit fragrance with greenery in the background like tarragon. I also for some reason strongly smell mandarin oranges even though it's apparently not listed in the notes (but is in the name of the fragrance). Longevity and sillage are both moderate, being a Tom Ford freshie. And it's totally unisex. It's not better than Neroli Portofino but it's very, very good.
