Reviews of Boss Bottled Intense Eau de Toilette

This is a review for the EDP Bottled Intense.

Well I would have to say it is a stronger, smoother Boss Bottled for sure. I wouldn't say it is over bearing in anyway. I would say the EDP as a base layer with a couple of sprays of the original over the top would probably make a great combo, if layering is your thing. I get a slight Layton vibe from it but it's not near the same quality. I do like and if you want a stronger version of BossBottled then go for it. Enjoy!

after all the positive reviews and some hyping influencer videos on youtube, I finally bought a bottle of this blind... and oh boy, honestly it´s one of the worst fragrances I did ever smell.

there is a quite agressive greenish chemical opening which I really dislike... and the bad thing: it stays for a very very long time

very synthetic to me, maybe the Geranium - not sure.

could not get the woods nor the apple.

honestly from reading all the other review I am not sure we are talking about the same fragrance.

first fragance I ever did throw into the trash - what a waste and disappointment

This is as big a hit with the South Indian ladies as the original Boss Bottled. Would buy when it's cold weather but not for spring/summer.

This review is for the EDP (Boss Bottled Intense Eau de Parfum):

This is a really nice flanker and Boss has done a good job with it. Imagine the original but darker, rounder, spicier, and in some way--creamier. The sharpness of the original has been reduced in favor of depth and darkness, though it still possesses that signature apple accord we love. And while it's a darker, richer fragrance it never feels heavy or stifling in any way. Performance is very solid with excellent longevity and good projection. I never judge projection simply by how loud something is. Projection is best when it feels appropriate for the scent. The projection of Boss Bottled Intense Eau de Parfum is about one and a half to two feet while still, which creates a nice little bubble around its subject. People will notice this, but it does not have an intrusive presence unless you overspray.

Good for fall, winter, and spring, this is the way to go, in my opinion, when considering Boss Bottled. While it's not worth owning this and the original (they're too similar), if you're looking to upgrade it might be worth giving your bottle of the EDT to a friend and buying this EDP. You'll be pleased with the improvement. And if you don't own any iterations of this popular Boss release, but want to, then the Eau de Parfum is definitely the one you want. Thumbs up for this quality parfum and for actually releasing a worthwhile, not-unnecessary flanker.

EDP

Take the original, don't alter the D.N.A but intensify every note and make it last longer, hey presto you have boss bottled intense EDP. Could fragrance blending be that simple and easy?, you'd think not with the amount of failed 'intense' flankers on the market. Hugo Boss have nailed it tho with this one, they have stuck with their classic and given it upgrades. Price, performance and quality are all on point for what is a respectful and honest improvment of a legend.

Review for the Eau de Parfum version:

This fragrance is a masterpiece that smells like spiced apples with vanilla and cinnamon. I can also detect a hint of orange blossom. It's extremely pleasant to the nose and leans masculine although it's sweet. It smells kind of like something you'd order from Starbucks with apple and cinnamon in it in the fall. As this is the Intense Eau de Parfum version of Boss Bottled, it smells spicier and darker than the regular Boss Bottled (an iconic mens' fragrance with a primary note of apple) and would work best in fall or winter in my opinion. On the drydown it smells the same but the apple and cinnamon notes become even stronger (while the orange blossom disappears). Sillage is strong while longevity is also strong at over 8 hours. Overall, this is by far the best thing to come out by the Hugo Boss house in my opinion.
