To my nose this is an intense amber wood scent.
Spikenard is not a scent I know, although Wikipedia tells me it is an oil derived from a flowering plant that was used extensively in the Ancient World - as incense, perfume, medicine, etc.
The impression I get from Arome is that of amber and cedar with a lavender underlay. An excellent and powerful addition to the genre of amber woods.
