So first off this is not "Stale campfire smoke on your clothing" There is no food roasting, but plenty of green wet wood burning hot. Eventually.
There is a really big bonfire, in a clearing a little way down the path buy you're still on your way.
It starts out with the lavender and beeswax creating a deceptively sweet accord for the first few minutes, but as those settle, the smoke comes out, brightened by juniper and supported by the sandalwood. That progression (more resinous woods and less lavender) seems to remain pretty steady after the first 30-45min (depending on application).
This one lasts and lasts (2 days plus on a strip, longer than I want to test on skin) but eventually the smoke falls away and you're left with a slightly woody beeswax.
I like this quite a bit but might look for a smoky Incence type of fragrance to layer it with.
