  1. I Smell. . . Changes

I know people got lots of things going on. Some of us have had a lot of changes come about due to the lockdown. Some of us, like myself, had a lot of changes going on even before the lockdown, uncomfortable changes. I haven't been posting here very much over the past ten years because a LOT of changes happened about ten years ago. And it led to other changes, and more changes, and more changes, and more changes.

So by the time the lockdown happened, I was getting used to having to ...
  2. Oman

There are two things about Oman that make me wish I could go there.

    1. The shipbuilding museum in Sur
    2. The Amouage factory

I've wanted to go to Oman since about 2011. It was about that time that my friend's brother Clyde asked me if I wanted to help him edit his sibling's book. I said, "Sure!" I was really busy at the time, and I didn't have a chance to sample either parfum or "dupe." But since getting onto a Must de Cartier EdT kick last week, I rummaged through my piles of samples and found them.

The dupe wasn't even labeled. ...
  5. Aiona's Minute Medical Text of Skin Biochemistry

I had a friend who passed away about 11 years ago. The anniversary of her death will be this August 13th. Her friendship really affected my life in so many ways. I'll always be indebted to her for the advice, wisdom, and jokes that she shared with me.

I remember we were discussing something once, computer programming, I believe. She explained why something I was doing wasn't working. I vented my frustration, and after a pause, she said, "Ignorance."

    I ...
