  1. Thank you Leon! I'm still in disbelief that I found such a thing!
  2. Ooh, Robin - what an amazing find! Congratulations and thanks for sharing the pic.
Vintage CdR occupies a very special place in my wardrobe. I can only dream of one day stumbling across such a gem in some unassuming place.
Wear it in good health. You don't need me to tell you how fab you smell
    Best wishes,
    Leon.
  3. Thank you very much! I appreciate that!

I've really loved CdR for a while now. And a couple weeks ago I stumbled across a sealed 1 oz bottle of vintage Cuir de Russie extrait from the 1940s at an antique store. It came with its original boxes and was in perfect condition with very minimal evaporation or color change. I almost fainted, the lady at the antique mall was literally fanning me with her clipboard because I was almost hyperventilating. lol! Anyway, it was one of the most exciting moments of my life because CdR is one of my favorite fragrances and I'm been really wanting to try the vintage version. It's very nice, but I prefer the modern parfum for the reasons I stated in my post. Here's a pic of my new vintage bottle:

Thanks again for your kind words!

    Robin
