When I smell this I'm really reminded of Prada Infusion de Vetiver. They were so close that I had to actually check the notes to see what I was smelling. They both have that fresh Vetiver, a pepper note, and they both use either ginger or citrus. This is a fresh cologne. The opening is really good and the drydown stays fresh without feeling soapy. I think my excitement for this would be a lot more if I didn't have a cologne just recently that smelled so similar. This is not bad by any means, look at my score and you will see I still think it's great.

Ironically enough I even get similar performance where they both project good but longevity isn't super long. I found myself reapplying this every few hours. This scent is for the person who wants that fresh clean Vetiver along with a peppery and citrus note. Better for spring/summer but the pepper probably helps it to be used year round. My suggestion to anyone interested in this one is try Prada Infusion de Vetiver first or sample them both together. They really are so similar that I wouldn't spend the extra money on Vetiver Babylone, I don't think it's a better fragrance unless in a very, very limited way.

My Wife's Rating: Scent - 9.5/10.

Her experience with this was just like Prada Infusion de Vetiver. She thought it was really, really, really good. The fresh Vetiver opening with citrus and pepper is a winning combination. Compared to Prada she couldn't really smell a noticeable difference and couldn't break the tie between the two. She said they were both great fragrances and her suggestion was "buy whichever was cheaper because I can't smell enough of a difference anyway."

Next Fragrance Review: Givenchy Vetyver.
