Roses for men

I'm not sure if it is due to my distant middle eastern roots but I have never percieved roses as un-masculine. I love rose scents and will hapilly wear even soliflors.
My current favourites include: many Montales, Creed Fleur de The Rose Bulgare, Domenico Caraceni 1913, C&S 88, Acqua di Parma Colonia, Tauer's Incense Rose and more....

Good for you ,some of the greatest rose growers are men so why not? I am trying to persuade my husband to wear "Une Rose" . He loves them on me but so far won't wear them. I did get him to use my Une Rose body cream at home. I think I'd find any man wearing rose intoxicating.

Neither have I perceived roses as necessarily female. Beautiful examples for a genderless take of roses imo, are Lyric (both man and woman), Portrait of a Lady or Voleur de Roses.
I don't get categorising flowers as gender-specific. I do like Pour Un Homme and can't bother less about lavender being a "flower for men".

Lots of favorites here. Niche scents, but not hard to find.

Voleur de Roses, No 88, and Black Tie.

Love the Rose Geranium combo. Damn shame about Domenico Caraceni 1913 being hard to find and perhaps somewhat changed.

Lastly, I never get why Egoiste is recommended for rose scents. Come on, get outta town. That's a sweet candy sandalwood scent.
