Still alive and kicking

Hello everyone! It's been a LONG, long time since I've been on BN, and I wanted to say hello to all of you. I needed a long break from the whole fragrance thing, because I got completely burned out. I wrote a new post on my Pour Monsieur blog this weekend, explaining my absence, so if you're interested, take a look.

I can't say that I'm going to be back to the same level I was before, but I will probably post new reviews from time to time. I'm glad to see that the group here has stayed intact, and that there are still people in this world that actually WEAR powerscents on a regular basis, and not just perfume enthusiasts who simply buy them for historical reference.

My tastes have not really changed in all these years. The vast majority of the time, I'm still wearing Quorum, Drakkar Noir, Grey Flannel, etc..

What seems to be the most popular power scent these days among you?

    Hello Shamu

A tip of the hat to your wonderful insight and my acquaintance. As a lurker for many years, I have finally mustered the energy to enlist on Basenotes. Since this is my inaugural post, I salute all. Certainly your penchant for the classy older guard has always thrilled... A scope, very appreciated.

Lately, Roger & Gallet Open EDT/ Pitralon aftershave pairing has been a Sunday ritual.
