The name does not suggest a Conehead sort of scent. And usually I avoid amber-oriented scents. But, I have a bottle of this and have enjoyed it.
What's up? Check out the notes:
Top Notes: Ginger, Pink pepper, Black cardamom
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Orchid, Rose, Water lily
Base notes: Kyara incense, Leather, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Black amber

What is kyara incense? Off the 'net --
The highest grade of Aloeswood is called Kyara, which means "Precious" in ancient Japanese. Kyara has deeper aroma and is more resinous than the average Aloeswood. Kyara is Sanskrit for Black. Aloeswood = oudh.
So, we have a dark, peppery incense scent. Not the usual buttery-sweet amber scent.
    I will post comments tomorrow.

Ginger and other spices, floral heart, oriental base. But unlike many Oriental scents, this is not sweet. It has an appealing dry, woody tone from the get-go. There are peppery spices. The florals are not prominent -- none of them. They probably soften the scent. The base is cool and airy, with hints of smoky incense. The leather and patchouli are applied with a light touch and are not problematic. There is a bit of a nutty tang lurking in the background. An intriguing scent, and much more substantial than one usually encounters with Jo Malone.
