Tacit by Aesop (2015)

That resolutely quirky, natural Australian house Aesop has released another good scent. I adore their Mystra (now discontinued).
This is a very good scent -- simple, subtle, and for green fans.
Has a bright, refreshing citrus opening. The citrus in question is yuzu, which I find usually has a green edge to its lemony character. The scent develops its basil note, and this too is light, crisp and invigorating. So far, we have a classic cologne in style, reminiscent of Eau D'Orange Verte with greener, more herbal notes. Grassy vetiver appears in the dry-down, and the scent is green throughout its life. Light, subtle ("elusive" is suggested on the ad copy), very natural and pleasant to wear.
Notes: Citrus, Basil, Vetiver. That's all, folks.

A crisp opening followed by a light, herbal note. The basil is good yet not as aggressive as one finds in other basil-oriented scents. Light and subtle throughout. Grassy vetiver at the end. A very green scent.

This should be refreshing in the current hot, humid weather. Tomorrow's comments will follow.

Very crisp and refreshing, with good herbal notes. The basil is very green but does not have the anise note one sometimes finds. Citrus is fleeting in the warm weather. A soapy, round basil settling into a light grassy vetiver.
