My favorite masculine marketed florals are Insense and Dior Homme.
That's what I was about to say!
I really don't like it. The new cap doesn't fit the aesthetic of the Sauvage bottle.
My all time favorite is Cuir de Russie.
Jicky just because.
Very nice! Quite the interesting fragrance!
None of those smell particularly mature to me. Not a bad thing of course.
^Congrats on both! Those are stunning masterpieces!
Wow! Some of those are dirt cheap!

Wow! Aventus won by a landslide in the poll!
Nope, it's never happened to me. If I smell a good perfume I'll probably smile, but I've never cried.
What was it??
Django (Luis Bacalov)
Iced Coffee
Arpege parfum
Arpege parfum vintage because I hadn't worn it in a while.

A women can definitely wear J P Le male without raising any questions. The fragrance smells very feminine imo, and could pass as a women's fragrance without hesitation.
I tried it in a store and disliked it immensely. Imo, it is not full bottle worthy and does not stand out.
I never realized how many CdG fragrances there are and how so many of them are incense/woody!!
Many of the classic perfumes have wonderful changes. They start off wonderful and get even better the further into the drydown (ex. Chamade). Alas, as it has been pointed out, fragrances nowadays...
Yes 1740 is a stellar masterpiece, though I can definitely see why it's not for everyone. I love Cuir d'Arabie, however I'm just a bit hesitant about buying a full bottle so that's why I got the...
Hmmmm....Well in that case, Guerlain Vetiver!
Hmmmm...Maybe look at getting some samples from The Perfumed Court. I know they sell sets of samples revolving around a specific theme, and I know for certain they have a couple sets of animalic and...
I much prefer the original Eau Suavage over the parfum flanker.
Likewise lol
Anyways, I suggest the usual suspects: Kouros, Muscs Koublai Khan, Le Labo's Oud, Dusita's Oud, Salome.
Nice! This sounds really interesting!
I wouldn't either.
There's two processes that people sometimes do to try to improve or change their fragrances.
- Maceration. This is where you let the fragrance sit for a while. Imo, it is pointless to macerate...
I really disliked it when I tried it. It reminded me of Bleu a lot.
This. Has a nice hint of an animalic note.
Thanks for the heads up as well as the helpful tips for spotting fakes! Another big giveaway is that the seller has 0 feedback!
30 wearings of Jicky edp
Jicky is now in second place for most times worn after surpassing Mitsouko. First place is Aromatics Elixir.
No of course not! I think that would be a great gift! I think that would be even better than you just picking one out yourself.
Tonight: Jicky edp
Jicky edp because it's one of my favorites!
Thank you!
So is the criteria that it must have the word "Sport" in the name? Or are we going with anything that feels sporty?
Best Chanel's mens fragrance?
imo:
Pour Monsieur (the original, not the edp or concentrée) or Sycomore
Nice! Congrats!
I use Dove Soap. It's very nice.
I like Green Irish Tweed. Not a love, but it's still pretty good.
Yeah I love chypres a lot, so I'm very curious about Chypre Siam!
Ahhh. That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Original formulation Dior Homme is on my to buy list!
1740 and three samples: Gold Woman, Cuir d'Arabie, and Chypre Siam. I've tried the first two, but not the last one.
2 oz bottle of Histoires de Parfums 1740 from Luckyscent, using the 15% off code. I also received three free samples: Gold Woman, Cuir d'Arabie, and Chypre Siam. The first two I've tried and love,...

Check out Ebay!
The title of the video alone was enough to make me turn it off before it even started lol.
Yeah, they did a very good job of making it look old and dated!
My guess is they're probably trying to make it look like a limited edition deep vintage bottle or something.
I don't get any huge similarities.
That's a pretty expensive price for Bal a Versailles, considering the size (7.5 ml). On Ebay, there are much cheaper bottles of Bal a Versailles parfum.
Yay! Cinnabar is great!
Estee Lauder is one of my favorite brands: not pretentious, dependable, cheap, wonderful; the Target of fragrance!!
Imo, the last super good fragrance Serge Lutens did was in 2007 with Sarrasins. 2007 or so and prior was when Serge Lutens was at it's prime imo. But if you really want to get technical, the 1990s...
Estee Lauder Knowing today!!
Estee Lauder Knowing today!!
From what I've heard, Dzing's been reformulated. I would be very surprised if it wasn't.
Reviews, positive or negative, don't influence my purchases, blind buys or not.
I've tried the version prior to the 2020 re-release/reformulation, but I don't think it was the silver collar version (the silver collar is the 2005 version right?). I'm by no means at all a Dior...
I completely agree. Very well said!
EL Knowing
Knowing. Wows me every time.
Knowing because I haven't worn it in a while.
EDT for me.
Coco Mademoiselle is very popular and quite good. I suggest you look into that.
Aromatics Elixir.
Was at the orthodontist this morning and smelled a very faint chypre. It might have been the dry down of Aromatics Elixir, but it was very faint so it might have been the body lotion.
SOTE is Aromatics Elixir because I wanted a chypre.
Tonight: Aromatics Elixir
Jicky edp
Yes. Considering how recent it was released, I highly doubt it was reformulated.
Jicky edp
So they can use the name "Joy" for the Dior perfume.
I agree. Its disgusting.
Jicky. For some reason, its even better than it normally is. Must be the warm weather.
Jicky because I felt like it.
Not a fan of Boss Bottled Intense, so I'd probably recommend A*Men. It can be found on FragranceNet and Ebay for pretty cheap.
Nope. No thanks.
That's true. I agree.
Yup it does, sadly. You'd expect some creativity since it's from Serge Lutens, but I guess not.
Personally, I don't like any of the flankers of Dior Homme, including the re-release, as much as I like the OG.
Luckily I haven't experienced any allergies from fragrances.
It's exactly the same, smell wise and performance wise.
That's great news!!!
Thank you!
Good choice on your Dior Homme Intense Silver Collar!
I personally don't really care for this brand, so the only one I'd probably recommend would be Hammam Bouquet.
