    Re: Bel Ami

    My kind of guy!

I've been a Basenoter long enough to:

  2. Re: What’s in the back of your collection waiting to get out and see the world?

That's an interesting question. But I've hit the point where I could wear a different scent every day for almost half the year.

  4. Re: I can't believe I've never smelled Heritage..

Indeed. That screechy opening of HABIT ROUGE is a handful...the EdP overall scent has grown on me a bit, but the opening notes are always "WTF?"
  5. Re: I can't believe I've never smelled Heritage..

    I agree wholeheartedly with this.

HABIT ROUGE is kind of like the "scotch" of men's scents. It's really quite good, but initially a little hard to embrace.

I think for most people, HERITAGE is...
  6. Re: I can't believe I've never smelled Heritage..

I blind bought it and was quite pleased.

Just be aware, it is like HABIT ROUGE in that it is nicely blended...leather and patchouli are there but don't leap out.
  7. Re: I can't believe I've never smelled Heritage..

The EdT is quite nice. Manly elegance in the vein of BOIS DU PORTUGAL. It doesn't smell like BdP but has that "serious man" vibe.

It doesn't seem to have much shelf space in any stores I frequent....
