    I’ll stick my neck out and back this claim. Ensar’s Thai Tabac is easily in my all time top 3 favorite tobacco scents. It’s worth every penny and then some.

    Hands down, I prefer Russian Adam’s approach. Perhaps I’m mistaken and haven’t smelled enough but IMO the musk element seldom takes centrestage in Ensar’s compositions.

    They do on occasions have some fairly interesting concepts e.g. Pulp, Gypsy Water, etc but eventually let down by cheap materials.

    A lot depends on the natural materials used in these attars. Some are by their nature or tincturing method, shortlived. Others especially of resinoid origins seem to stick around longer....

    My solution to this: don’t ever finish the juice. Always leave 4-5 ml for the lovely memories. In the meantime find a new fragrance to love, while keeping an eye out for partial used or NOS bottles...

    LOVE Sir Winston . On me it’s mostly ‘green tea’ and ‘tobacco’. Tuberose plays in the background. It’s impressive in its clarity yet deceiving in its simplicity.
