This is what happens when you wear Cuir de Lancome and then use watermelon hand sanitizer.
Not funny for a fragrance enthusiast.
Just sayin'.

I don't know if this is the forum to post in, but Guerlain Lui is on sale at Fragrancenet for $67.0 USD with the coupon code. Not testers. It was marketed as a unisex at launch in 2017, but seems...
I love the Frankincense and Myrrh.
Mozart Overture to Marriage of Figaro.
Diet Pepsi
Estee Lauder Cinnabar
This is the best article on skank.
I love my Kelly Caleche unwiped saddle!
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2008/dec/06/perfume-ingredients
I like "barbichage" or bearding!
Today's SOTD for me is the sugary Lancome Tresor a la Folie. I needed a dessert of a scent.
Lovely bottle, too.

@Cook.bot, Mel Torme also did one.

Good line of scents. I find the iris the most interesting.
For me, it's Bandit. I hear it was launched with models dressed as bandits.
For Cook.bot, a reference to Charlie:

This appears not to be working any longer.
Oh, I agree violet and leather are wonderful. Have you tried The Different Company I Miss Violet or Atelier Sous Le Toit de Paris?
The BV EDP for women is something I adore. I have love this since its launch in 2011. I have the travel mini and the refillable bottle plus body cream. I hope they don't discontinue this. It's...
I just checked the main site and there is no fragrance at all.
A move for BV with the new creative team? I hope not. BV EDP is perhaps my reach-for scent of all time. That is not hyperbole. I...
My SOTD today was lavender water, simple lavender water I made from essential oil. Not much in the mood for perfumes today.
Stay safe, tdem! Healing thoughts for your husband.
My SOTD is Nicolai Vie de Chateau Intense.
Late to the party, but my SOTD was Lancome Tresor La Nuit.

Please report on this. I thought the original was entirely conceptual and not a real perfume. Interested in what it smells like.
+1 on this. It's a sweet bomb with huge sillage and lasting power.
I have complimented a woman at an ATM, a woman at a veterinary office, a young man in a grocery store and a neighbor taking a walk around the block!
Sadly, the woman at the ATM, when I asked the...
Late to the party.
Mon Guerlain in the EDP.
Something with a light lavender note. Guerlain Mon Guerlain in the EDT?
Bottega Veneta in the EDP.
My mainstays in the luxe line are the Ombre Leather (I have the 16 and the main release), Oud Wood and Tobacco Vanille. I hope they keep those in the lineup. I am still upset they canned Violet...
Cazaubon, I hope it arrives quickly! Keep us posted.
I would like to add ELDO Bijou Romantique. Big Shalimar vibes for me. Was this already mentioned?
Edit: I saw this in the third page!
I transfer almost all of my pure parfums into little glass vials to dab on. That way the original bottle is not contaminated. Clean pipette with each decant.
No fight here. Everyone has different tastes. Vanilla is a tricky note. You don't want to end up too sugary.
Actually, I like Cabotine! I also like the original leathery Cabochard in the EDP.
Thank you, as always, Hednic!
Popping in here after long absences and wearing Oud Bouquet by Lancome. Very much a gourmand with woody notes. (I have the older all-gold bottle.)
Hugs, to all.

A nice scent, very work-safe, but easy to break the cap. It's plastic and not metal. My cap broke on the first day I owned a bottle.
Any more feedback on this, or the women's?
The new women's Tiffany Intense was good with a strong iris note.
Hoping these Tiffany & Love offerings are worthy.

What scents are appropriate for wearing with a necktie? Cravats and Black Ties have found inspiration in scent.
A long tie, a knit one? A bow tie? Black tie or white tie and tails? College or...
Happy birthday, Red! Wear something very special for your special day!
My SOTD is Caron Narcisse Noir in the parfum.
A classic orange blossom.

Condescending. Only one word I can find for this. Let us know an update.
I am on a bit of a perfume hiatus here, but I spray myself every single day.
My SOTD for Wednesday will be D&G The One Essence.
An amped up version of The One EDP, still with a floral/peach...
I enjoy Third Man and Pour Un Homme, but also Poivre, Tabac Blond and Parfum Sacre. The Narcisse Noir, even in the modern version, is an orange blossom delight!
As a very young child, I loved sniffing the scents of my parents and older siblings: Lentheric Onyx of my father, Chanel No. 5 (and No. 19) of my mother, Blue Grass and Obsession of my sister.
...
A Lab On Fire My Own Private Teahupo'o.
A long name for a great scent. I would have preferred it only as Teahupo'o.
Thanks for update.
https://fashionmagazine.com/beauty/hedi-slimane-celine-fragrance/
Did anyone see the recent article on Celine in the WSJ called, Scents of Occasion? There will be 11 new scents launched.
Many fashion design houses are launching their own lines of fragrance...
What did P.T. Barnum say? Scarce, this is a great observation!
I recycle the cardboard boxes but I keep the more handsome presentations. I have far too many bottles to keep all of the boxes.
Happy BN anniversary for Cuddlecat!!
My SOTD is what I have been wearing all week, Lab On Fire My Own Private Teahupo'o. Silly name but a warm amber floral with a savory tinge.

Too many to count but I wear:
Habit Rouge EDP
Derby
Egoiste
Terre d'Hermes
Bel Ami
Equipage
Sartorial
Mouchoir de Monsieur
It's warm and humid in my part of the world. Vol de Nuit in the EDT.
Wall Street Journal this evening says Barneys is indeed filing for bankruptcy. Plans to close most stores.

I love those crazy decanters from Avon. They had them for both women and men and are charmingly quirky now.
My SOTD is Sun di Gio by Giorgio Armani.
I have been wanting frangipani for the summer days.

Thank you, Lian, for the reply. It looks like I will have to sample this.
The 50 ml refill bottle with the butterfly icon (are they getting rid of that?) and the frosted intrecciato bottom is one of my all time reached-for scents. I also have backups.
For a fashion...
Here is the English-language site:

I am sampling these now and hope some of them interest me. (The Japanese adore Guerlain and Chanel.)
I am comparing these two scents to the newer version of Sinner in the fancy bottle.
Both of these have a plum/patchouli vibe, but the Britney Spears scent has berries.
Byredo Bibliotheque:
...
How much frangipani is in this?
I am interested in the floral amber, and not so much in the salt or oceanic notes mentioned.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
...
Most of the line did not impress me, but I did like Nectar and Tonka. I bought a backup of Tonka.
I can't think of something off the top of my head but search for something with plum and patchouli.
I know the newer version of Sinner is weaker than the original.
I get a lot of green from Guerlain Vol de Nuit in the galbanum.
My husband complimented my wearing the new Givenchy Gentleman EDP.
When I think of "earth," I think of rooty iris.
For me, it will be Atelier Silver Iris!
Thank you for the suggestions!
One pal in the medical profession adamantly says no fragrance AT ALL.
On the other hand, I have smelled Avon Haiku and Oscar de la Renta on some health professionals. I asked.
Iris by Fragonard.
To be honest, you could find the Hiris at e-tailers for about $80.00 USD. I don't know if they are still doing this.
Just looking at an article from the TV series, "The Crown," and the Queen and the Prince Consort are expecting a baby--and there are some fragrances on the dressing table: some Penhaligon's, to be...
Oh, the horrors!
This is an article on the loss of the sense of smell.
...
Any of the Christian Louboutin perfumes.
Bumping this for the question. Anyone out there?
Agree! I have the purple fragrance amulet, and the 30 ml fake "stingray" (galuchat) bottle. Lovely and resinous!
Nothing too unusual for me, but wearing Habanita in the EDT.
I love orange and would love to try this. I have two of the Souffle bottles because they are so pretty.
Very cute!
I thought, though, that Mulan would wear something more Asian, such as Revlon Xia Xiang.
My SOTD is the one I wore yesterday, Givenchy Gentleman in the EDP.
This is not the classic scent, but the newer one that resembles Dior Homme parfum and Fahrenheit parfum. It's and iris with...
Quarry, thank you for sharing and reporting. It's always nice to know what is current and out there!
Thank you!
My SOTD is Shalimar Initial. Too bad this scent is no more and can only be found for extortionate prices.
Despite pink juice, very unisex as the original Shalimar. Warm and wearable.

I can't say what my grandmother wore, but my mother wore Chanel No. 5 and Chanel No. 19. Always a Chanel gal. The scent of No. 5--whether I wear it or on someone else--brings back memories of her.
I know there was a line of jewellery with ceramic inserts to hold fragrance, but I am more interested in simply jewellery and scents separately.
They now have a line of scented lipstick.
My mother word Chanel No. 5 and in the 1970s wore Chanel No. 19. The smell of No. 5 always brings back memories of her.
Thank you, Dane. The most recent find I made with Angel EDP was the 50th anniversary, too.
MY SOTD is one of my go-to scents: Armani Prive Cuir Amethyste.
Lovely patch, floral and leather. I think this is still in production, though reformulated, but is found for extortionate prices...
Sample them and then make your choice to buy--as in all scents. Everyone has his own likes and dislikes.
Bottles and names, and the spokesmodel, are not often an indicator of quality or scent.
My SOTD is Cuir de Lancome. Time after time, I come back to the jasmine, smoky leather. Not as smoky as, say, Lonestar Memories, but a floral leather not to be missed.

What a shame! Most of the Tom Ford line are power beasts.
Late to the party, but Cuir de Lancome was my SOTD. It may be my SOT (tomorrow!) because I love it so much!
I will have to sample this. This does sound like a fougere, but I have enough patch/ambers.
Still loving leather, resins, woods and florals, but not afraid to enjoy gourmands now.
Has anyone tried this?
My scent of the day will be Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka.
It's cold in my part of the world now, and I wanted something warm and resinous.
Best wishes to all.

MegaMav, thanks for the tip!
Some online vendors will ship you the wrong item, then hold your order hostage until you return the item to them.
Late to this party, but wearing Satine by Lalique.
Great review! Thanks for the link, Cazaubon!
My SOTD will be Lancome Hypnose for women.
Uncomplicated vanilla, floral and vetiver.

Duplicate.
Bumping this.
Has anyone tried this? It's not in the directory.
Magnolia Pourpre by MPG. This is discontinued but a great leather floral.

First is a classic!
Thank you, Dane. I enjoy Angel, but I would go broke buying each and every special bottle.
I have the 25 year special Angel bottle.
