    + 1 for Encens et Lavande, L’Occitan, Masculin Pluriel and Alexandria II. Gris Clair is overly cloying but it’s worth trying based on what your are looking for.

    Hard. I find it a very nice house for fresh fragrances.
    Colonia Pura, Fico di Amalfi, Ebano (ECC), Quercia (ECC), Oud (ECC), III and Arancia di Capri.

    I can’t argue with that. Those Casamoratti bottles look like cheap plastic toys in pictures. At person they are very beautiful. I was like “WTF??!!!”. when I saw them. Even the yellow looks very nice.

    Thanks a lot! Now I’m almost sure it was the EDT I tried. If I’m not mistaken it was indeed at JFK. I believe it was the oakmoss that was responsible for the greatest part of the “Wow” factor on me....

    How different are the openings of Pour Monsieur Concentree (EDP?) and the EDT? I’m not sure anymore which one I tried. I just remember feeling one of the best openings I’ve ever felt!

    Beyond what people said above some notes have different facets and the perfumer can play with that. Other notes can be extracted by different parts of a plant: i.e. violet can come from violet leafs...

    Guerlain supposedly has a fragrance for them: Arsene Lupin Dandy. I don’t find it that “dandy” though. MdM is indeed more. So is Habit Rouge.

    You described perfectly the note. Actually in Jub XXV I get a bit of a resinous note, but I think it’s much more from the oud/woody notes. It hides a sort of “spicy” facet I get from myrrh.

    I feel like the older one is more warm. The newest are more dry and less complex. It’s still Fahrenheit though and easily recognizable (pretty unique).
