A bee has never stung me, wasps seem to love me (have never stung me, either): they tend to land on my arm and walk around, sniffing. This happened even when I was a kid and wasn't wearing any perfume, so I have learned to petrify into a salt statue whenever approached by insects that might sting - I've had plenty of practice!

Having been stung by bees twice this past two weeks (tonight), both have been on my forearms were I apply my second spritz. First time I was tipsy and high on my bike riding slowly with my friends on shores, I thought it just hit my forarm and did her thing out of confusion, but tonight I was sitting and f'ing tattooing when the dumb bastard killed herself kissing me! I'm now very afraid to wear my perfumes, I kid you not

Not stung, but often circled by bees when wearing DOMENICO CARACENI 1913. Happened on more than one occasion.
Between Covid and retirement I don't get out much. But when I do, I smell real good.

Flies seem to love to be extra annoying when I wear fragrance daily especially when they are inside restaurants or my work lunch room.

Interesting thread. I am fatally allergic to bees and carry an Epipen with me everywhere (well, that is what I tell myself--I think it is in my golf bag or a brief case somewhere--I really must carry it with me every day...). I don't know if wearing scent contributed to my last bee sting but if so that is one of the ONLY things that would make me stop wearing scent.
Very clearly a case for corn flakes and classics

No, thankfully. But was stalked by a bumble bee once while wearing HdP 1969. It was bizarre.

Ever get stung by a bee while bumping up a 10 year old thread?

    Me neither.

Guerlain released a bunch of bee bottles recently. Been stung by any?

    Me neither.

I've never been stung but if I'm outside, my fragrance can definitely attract them. Just two days ago, at the gas station, I had two of them swirling around my left arm.

    I like revived threads

Actually thought about that also recently. Wasps really dug my Breath of God the other day, wow. Generally, I feel that bees, wasps and the like often get attracted by perfume.

At home, I have lavender and mint on my balcony so I can just rub some and place it on the windowsill. Many frags are stronger than that, though...

Nice to see my classic 10 year old thread get a lift. I still avoid my Chanel Allure Sport, mostly because it's gotten me mostly negative feedback in addition to the bee sting. Seems like the bee population has suffered greatly over the past 10 year as well.

One almost got me many years ago. Can't remember what I was wearing but I applied fairly heavily. Probably something citrusy because it was a hot day.

I was walking to the car and it dive bombed my head. I whacked it with the notebook I was carrying which only proved to piss it off. It chased me around the car and was attacking the side window after I jumped in and shut the door real quick.

They can be some nasty buggers.

Yeah I searched and just knew there would be another poor bee survivor here... I almost never wear florals and both stings were applied on my two newly acquired florals Iris Nazarena and Rose Amazone. Bee population have been ridiculously increasing here over this summer.

I wonder what stings or flies around people wearing Dior Leather Oud and Xerjoff Zafar.
I don’t understand. It is so vast that surpasses all understanding.Understanding is always limited. But not understanding can have no boundaries.I feel like I'm much more complete when I don't understand. Not understanding, like I say,is a gift. Not understanding, but not as a simple-minded.The good thing is to be intelligent and not understand. It's a strange blessing, like having craziness without being crazy. It is a meek disinterest,it is a stupid sweetness.

Haven't been stung yet, but definitely notice many frags attract insects to me, especially dangerous ones, like bees, wasps, and hornets.
