I tried Classic a few weeks ago at a Brooks Brothers store. It's ok... a very traditional well done everyday cologne, nothing earth shattering. I reckon if you like NY Gentlemen you are likely to like Classic.

I went back and picked up the D&G Pour Homme 4.2oz I spotted at TJMaxx earlier this week. They still had a Versace Dylan Blue 100ml but I already have Chanel Bleu De Chanel EDT which is a nicer blend.

Marshall's is coming back. They had their men's fragrance section heavily stocked.

Warrior Blue I was excited thinking this was Dylan Blue.
Versace Dylan Blue I found the real thing eventually but at $59.99 it didn't feel like that much of a discount.
    Versace Pour Homme
Eternity for Men Eau de Parfum
Eternity for Men EDT 6.7 oz
    John Varvatos NJ x JV

and a bunch of Cool Waters, Nauticas, A/V, and the usual suspects.

Just got back from Marshalls, didn't buy anything - but they are definitely starting to get more in-stock. Tons of the usual suspects (Nautica, BHPC, CK, etc.) A fair amount of the Versace everyone has been seeing - 10mL travel size of Eros & Dylan Blue..plus 30mL bottles ($39) and 50mL gift sets ($49.99) Also, looks like Brooks Brothers has unloaded quite a bit of stock on them, including Classic, Blue and Country Club...all $16.99 each for 100mL. Great price, but I've never smelled any of them, but I do own New York Gentleman, which I really like.

Brooks Brothers Classic is a really nice fresh scent for the office. I was tempted to pick it up on Saturday, but I resisted.

I saw it as well, today, at Marshall's. What would it be considered similar to?

Folks on fragrantica compare it to Safari and Egoiste... eeeeeehhhhh... maybe in a "sorta reminds me" kind of way and I can understand why - just look at the notes. But I wouldn't call them similar. I struggle to name a particular doppelganger, but it's an amalgalm of all those late 80's early 90's traditional masculine fresh-woody-herbal supermarket mass market aftershaves. It's not particularly complex or aspirational, but it's clean, familiar and gets the job done. Not FBW for me, but still way way better than all those $14-$15 bland synthetic no-name Marshalls/TJX colognes by Tru Fragrance called "Bourbon Oak" or "Dark Woods" or whatever.

Not fragrance, but today I did find a pair of charcoal gray flannel trousers by Thomas Pink--my size--with the original price tag of $390 marked $18.99. It will cost me more that that to have them hemmed but you can never have too many pairs of gray flannels, IMO. Looks like frags are trickling in but it is slim pickings.
Very clearly a case for corn flakes and classics

    A nice pickup from D&G.

Forgot to mention, there was a TON of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue at Marshalls. Many varieties were there, including Living Stromboli and Italian Zest for $39.99 ea. (no Light Blue Intense though)

Some 30ml Art of Shaving fragrances showed up in Burlington today in SE Wisconsin for $12, including Oud & Suede, Sandalwood & Cypress, and one other I can’t remember. They also had a 100ml AoS Coriander & Cardamom for $20, which I gave a shot. Initial impression: it doesn’t do much for me. I’ll probably return it.

Also stopped by TJ Maxx. The only noteworthy fragrances were 100ml bottles of Bulgari Aqua & Aqua Atlantique for $40.

That's not bad at all, especially the AoS 100 ml for $20. It'll probably be another 6 month before they trickle down south.

I haven't seen this at discounters in a looong time. Most CVS stores in my area still carry it. Can be had for dirt cheap and well worth it.

That's a really good deal...cheaper than FragranceNet and FragranceX - they're $60+ just for the 100mL. I'll keep an eye out for that one!

More posts on this, others are seeing it, but I stopped today and didn't. For $15 or 16 would probably just take a shot and blind buy if they get it....

Fragrancenet and fragrancex (etc etc) prices online have been slowly but surely creeping up across the board recently, like I mentioned a few posts ago "can be found cheaper online" is no longer the default adage, especially when you factor in shipping.

P.S. also saw Intenso 125 ml bottle for $49.99 at my TJ Maxx earlier this week. Oddly enough OG D&G PH and Light Blue PH remain the most expensive variants at the discounters.

Stopped at TJ Maxx. More stock but still not over full. Mostly the usual stuff. One thing I saw that some may like was Versace Dreamer gift set, 3 pieces with 50ml for $34.99. Don't know if that's a good deal not a big fan of versace stuff.

I did see and buy two English Laundry deodorant sticks for $3.99, Notting Hill and Windsor. The only other that wasn't off brand was Obsession but they were $8.....

Guessing he meant the 2.5 or the 4.2. I have several of the 2.5 bottles I have purchased from CVS.

Dreamer is a decent find, particularly the gift scent at that value.
