I've seen the prices for 'regular' Amouage's, how much are these concentrates?

I have only tried 3 of them ...

Homage is beautiful , maybe one of the best fragrances on the market . It is fairly linear and only lasts around 6 hours on my skin .

Tribute on the other hand is so deep and dense and it takes forever to reach down into the base which is amazing .

Al Andalus is mostly that citrus and rosemary part from Homage , it lasts and lasts forever even after showering I can still smell it on my skin . I have heard people comparing it to a Chanel but dont recall which it is ?

I would love to try Ouhd Al Khaloud but at around $1000 for 12ml it aint gonna happen LOL !!!

I wonder if the Amouage store sells smaller quantities - they typically come in 12ml, but usually arabic perfumers have a bottle and will decant any quantity, ie also 3 and 6 ml. Still expensive, of course, but at least one can have two.

I'd be split between Homage and Tribute and would probably lean towards Homage - I love rose

Al Andalus is very nice too but not nearly as refined and complex as the other two mentioned above. Besides, if you have GIT, you've already got a reasonable approximation.

Al Khaloud is absolutely not worth the money it sells for, it's a generic blend oud oils with other ingredients, mainly rose. The oud component is so generic (because of being a blend of different ouds) and so anemic that it's probably worth half of its pricetag, if that.

Others are interesting but none that I've tried really captured my imagination and some I didn't like at all (Al Shomoukh - nasty synthetic musk ruins this one). Al Molook is not unpleasant if you like rose/ambergris, but not bottle worthy for me.

Well, considering most people have only tried or only know of homage and tribute, you won't get useful feedback. i have tried quite a few, and my two favorites are homage and asrar(a saffron based one)

Homage without a doubt, but given the fact I have only tried four and there are so many I don't know what that means, really.

The Sandalwood is very good - more or less a straight Mysore IMO, which alone makes it worth having.

    +1

I've tried most of them and, while there's an initial wow factor to some of them, after a couple of tests/wearings, their short-comings become even more apparent (i.e. most of them are not worth the prices charged).

Tribute would have been my choice but the cedar drydown simply cheapens the composition, as well as ruining my enjoyment of it. I mean after paying so much money, the last thing you want is a mainstream masculine designer drydown...

Homage and Asrar, followed by Bahjah. Homage and Asrar blend perfectly together.

    @ Ash H

Perhaps Amouage's attars line such as Homage and Tribute are more accessible than others, hence the reasons.

    @ All

Thank you for your posts, keep the information going.

    Easy, Tribute.

I find Homage too feminine for me, and most of the other attars don't reach the combination of power, sophistication and balance as tribute does (for me). Note however, that many (eg. Asrar, al mas) are top notch attars in their own
    right.

    Haven't tried al shomukh unfortunately...

Oudh al khaloud is superb if you are used to the barnyardy/fecal note in some oudh (Indian?). Enormous staying power.

And.. i dotn see Ashgan in the list.. but this one is my fav!

Silver oud is a pure cambodi oud.
it is very smothe and delicate.
oud and amber ...they get smother while they age.
most BN'rs here are used to the cheaper quality that kills u
because it is sharp and strong smelling.... but strong smelling is not the same as
    aged and good quality oil.

then there is the THAQUEEL kind of oud... wich is a thick syrupy like liquid .
thaqueel doenst mean pure oil or better qualety..... it only say in arabic.... Heavy/thick.

Personally I would love to have all of them in my collection! But if I absolutely had to choose one ... hmmm lets see ... hehehe wow this is a pretty hard decision to make ... I think it would probobly be Tribute? No wait! It would be Badr Al Badour, no no no! It would have to be Homage!!! *sigh* I give up ... they are all beautiful! I can't make this decision lol ...
