I think we should start a thread called Thailand. Bangkok is of course the centre, and the large shopping malls such as Siam Paragon and Central Chitlom have the main designer brands.

For more adventurous fragrances, Comme des Garcons can be found in the Erawan Plaza. (Chitlom sky train station).

There is not much available in terms of niche fragrances, as far as I know.

I have not tried any scent from that shop yet.

Perfume event in Bangkok on 11 January at Thavibu Gallery in Silom, 3-8 pm. (google location). All BNs are warmly welcome.

One may look upon perfumery as an art form; using words as 'composition', 'notes', 'multi-layered' 'original', and a host of other expressions related to other art forms. There is also an artist or a creator who blends the perfumes and a curator who oversees the process.

Thavibu Gallery has teamed up with PerfumersWorld to organise a one day exhibition event of perfumes in Bangkok. The event will include a demonstration how essential oils are produced and an opportunity to smell them, such as patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, labdanum etc.. The demonstration will also feature how perfumes are blended.

Important haute-couture perfumes will be on display and available for visitors to smell – and for you to try to identify individual notes. There will also be an explanation about different families of perfumes and a discussion related to classical vs. contemporary and male vs. female perfumes.

The exhibition will feature a section on how to make your own perfume with the opportunity to try it out in practice – your very own Bespoke Perfume.

Amour 4 psyche – is a perfume inspired by the book and movie Perfume, Amoore & Psyche was the first perfume created by novice Jean Baptiste Grenoiulle on his first meeting of the Master Perfumer Monsieur Baldini. The notes that the perfume was built from will be displayed. 25 bottles of the limited edition perfume Amour 4 psyche especially created for this event will be available for sale to guests.

As far as I know, Montale and MFK are not imported into Thailand. Amouage is sold at Central World and Siam Paragon. I recommend Paragon where you get vouchers back on purchases. Decent prices on some Amouages. Forget about online perfume shopping in Thailand.

About 7,000-10,000 before discounts. Expect a 5-15% discount plus gift vouchers at Paragon. I recall Interlude, Honour, and Silver being the least expensive. Myths was the most expensive. Any in particular that you're interested in?

I've never seen Xerjoff in Bangkok.

I remember paying 6500 baht for Interlude after discounts. Creed prices are definitely cheaper than U.S. prices, but still not cheap. I'm pretty sure Stephane Humbert Lucas isn't available in Thailand.

I am going back there next month, the SA confirm that more selection of Malle are on their whey to the shop, like Gerenium & French Lover.

It has been a while since I posted, I got 100ml of Noire Epice & 70ml Grand Soir with less than 20,000 TH Bahts.
100 ml NP costs slightly above 10,000 & MFK is almost the same cost of 50ml Malle.

I will check for exact price again when I go there to pick up Geranium & French Lover.

The SA just told me Geranium might be around 9,799 TH Bahts.
